Third person's POV

Dianne and the other Woodelves waited anxiously for Envy to get up and make its next move.

If they're against an ordinary opponent, they wouldn't hesitate jumping and finishing things immediately but they just discovered, especially those armed with bladed weapons, that their attacks are meaningless if they could not break through its hardened skin.

Dianne thought as she looks at Envy This thing has been scratching itself earlier but I can't even wound it.

Dianne's serpent slithered and made a roaring hiss behind Dianne and the Woodelves, looking at Envy with predatory eyes.

It noticed that more lamps are being lit in the cavern.

Envy looked at the ceiling then immediately leaping there! The serpent immediately followed after and attacked it!

But Envy immediately dropped from the ceiling when the serpent attempted biting him but held on its lower jaw.

With the hand holding the jaw, Envy slammed the serpent to the ground like it was some kind of toy!

Dianne felt pity on her summon but she focused her attention to the only opponent.

Envy dashed towards Valien's direction again but Dianne immediately intercepted!

Envy growled Outta my way!! It curled its right hand to fist and sent a downward swing towards Dianne.

Dianne dodged backward, Envy's fist crashing to the rocky floor! Then it immediately made another follow-up punch towards Dianne that she barely managed to parry away I have to buy a little more time for Miss Valien.

Her rapier glowed more brightly then dashing towards Envy If the body won't get wounded...

She swung her rapier multiple times, sending waves of blue, blade-shaped shockwaves towards Envy!

The Aziexia has purple fire on its hands and swung them towards Dianne's incoming attacks Haha!!

Burst of flames countered Dianne's attacks and they still continued towards her!

Dianne's eyes widened and immediately leaping for the side, rolling on her feet.

Envy is distracted with Dianne that it didn't notice the other Woodelves attacking!

The mages already has flaming spells flying halfway towards Envy. Before it knew, explosions erupted on the spot!

The Aziexia tumbled and rolled a few meters out of the smoke, wincing in pain These damned pests..!

It could see the Woodelves running towards him with blades raised.

A spear user lunged towards Envy but it merely parried the weapon. Before Envy could counter, a sword-wielding Woodelf immediately came close and swung his weapon.

Envy immediately blocked it with its long arm...

...and the blade cut in just a few inches in Envy's flesh!

Envy gritted its teeth in pain and immediately punching the Woodelf by the abdomen with its free hand full force!

The Woodelf got blasted away in a straight line! Fortunately, one of his companions managed to catch him Hey, are you okay?!

He winced in pain I..I don't-- he coughed and blood came out of his mouth!

Back in the fight, Envy is able to defend itself from the attacking group, making the veteran Woodelf warriors look like desperate novices.
