Request: Could you do a one shot about a super shy girl who loves Remus and he loves her back but doesn't dare tell her, (he isn't that shy though, he just fears rejection) and the girl thinks Remus doesn't even know who she is and she is super insecure. Happy ending where they end up together and lots of fluff. Thanks! Your stories are awesome <3

A.N: Sorry for the late chapter, it's been a tough week. I also feel like I can never write shy characters right but I'll leave that up to you guys to decide. I also hope this fills what you wanted. But in the meantime please enjoy the second to last chapter.

------------

Remus Lupin. The Gryffindor your heart was set on. You didn't know how or when your heart decided he was the one but it had. You didn't know what it was about him that drew you in either. Prehaps it's that smile of his that's almost always on the verge of being a smirk? Or the way his clothes are immaculate yet his hair isn't? Or the compassion he shows to everyone? Or even the way he's not afraid of being called a bookworm? Whatever it is you couldn't help the butterflies that consumed you every time you saw him or heard his voice.

The only problem was you've never had the courage to admit it to him. It wasn't that you didn't want to, you did desperately, but your shyness prevented it. And that was the frustrating part. But to add to the frustration and insecurities, you have this sinking feeling that Remus doesn't even know who you are. But this, in fact, was a lie. The Gryffindor knew exactly who you were and was struggling with the same thing, his feelings towards you. The only difference was, whereas you were too shy to tell him, Remus feared your rejection above everything else and so chose to keep his feelings to himself.

But this is where all of that changed.

Sitting in the library, you were busying yourself with some studying. You didn't want to but it had to be done. If your shyness to interact with poeple wasn't so bad then you'd spend alot more time in the library but because it was you tried your best to avoid the room. As believe it or not the library was rather full most of the time which made it hard to pick the perfect time to go but somehow you did.

Adjusting your position in your chair, you turned the page of the book your were reading. The library had somewhat died down since you entered which was nice. It set your mind at ease. You had your notebook out but due to the useless information the book held you've only managed to make a handful of notes. Sighing you leaned back in the chair. "I need to get another book." You grumbled to yourself as you glanced over to where the bookshelve you needed is.

It took a moment but you finally built up the courage to get out of your chair and walk over to the bookshelf. Allowing your eyes to scan over the various books you soon found the one you knew would be more useful.

What you didn't pay attention to was the person who had walked up to the same bookshelf as you. You were too engrossed in the books to notice. Outstretching your hand you reached up to grab the book your eyes were set on. The only problem was that as you did this the person beside you did the same, reaching for the same book. Neither of you properly realising what the other was doing. You both touched the spine of the book and pulled it off the shelf in unison. Despite the contact of both your hands touching neither of you truly clicked what happened until the book was away from the shelf.

The moment your brain caught up you instantly let go of the book. "Sorry." You muttered quickly as you turned your head away, your cheeks going red.
