Since you and the marauders had no lessons this morning, you all decided to stay in the common room and relax. No games. No pranks. Just relaxing.

James and Sirius were sat on the sofa with you laying across them. Feet on James's lap and your head resting on Sirius' lap. Remus was on the floor leaning against the sofa and Peter was messing with something by the fire.

"What are you reading?" You ask out of boredom. You only ask because you've never actually seen Sirius willingly read a book before. Both James and Remus looked at you confused thinking you were talking to them but noticed that you were in fact staring up at Sirius.

Feeling that you're staring at him, Sirius lifted the book up slightly to see you're eyes staring straight at him. "What?"

"What are you reading?" You ask again.

"A book on transfiguration." He answers before going back to reading. You glance at James and Remus to see them smirking making you laugh.

James put his book down intrigued to what you're going to do next and Remus kept his open but also watched.

You looked back up thinking about the fact you know Remus reads, James does sometimes but only if he can't find anything else to do and Peter just does whatever first comes into his head. But Sirius? Sirius never reads not even in class and you've never seen him read. "Huh." Was all you said while you were thinking.

Sirius sighed and put the book down beside him and stared at you. "What now?"

"Just thinking."

"No you're not. You want to tell me something. Come on, what is it?" Sirius sighed.

"Well I've seen Remus read, James read and Peter on occasion but not you. I didn't even know you could read." You answered. After hearing that, both James and Remus burst out laughing, Peter came over not really sure what's happening and if Sirius couldn't keep a straight face then you would of believed he was angry.

"That's cold (Y/N), even from you." He answered shaking his head all while you looked at him as if nothing had been said.
