(Request) Family- Sirius Part 4

Request: Hi can I have a request where Sirius learns that Regulus is alive and is shocked to meet him again with a young girl in his arms and Regulus hands the little girl to him and says "She's my daughter, this is your niece Luci and I need you to help me raise her." As Luci grows up she looks like the spitting image of her father which kinda freaks Sirius out and she ends up being the 1st female Slytherin seeker and is raised as Harry's sister. But when they go to a match she falls off her broom at a sickening height and nearly gets killed but ends up injuring her hand and Sirius and Regulus get all protective of her.?

Summary: Set at the start of the Half Blood Prince, Luci walks into the kitchen when it's announced that the Millennium Bridge has been destroyed and Sirius informs her of the attack in Diagon Alley before going to the Weasleys where Harry is already. Luci and the Golden Trio then visit the alley to see the destruction for themselves and end up following Draco.

Having taken a nap, Luci slowly lifted herself up from her bed. The nap wasn't intended nor planned as she was in the middle of packing but she couldn't deny that it definately was needed. The young Black hasn't slept that much throughout the summer, due to the rising threat of war against Voldemort and his Death Eaters, and so is welcoming to any amount of sleep she can snag. Even if that means accidently falling asleep when she's suppose to be packing.

Sitting up on her bed and checking the time, Luci lazily pushes some of the clothing and books away from her that she had previously been trying to sort out prior to she falling asleep. Running a hand through her hair and sighing she climbs off her bed, deciding on stretching her legs. "Dad and uncle Sirius will still be downstairs anyway." She thinks to herself. Harry was still out so didn't need to bother with him.

Leaving her room, the teen made her way downstairs to where her father and uncle were. They were sat intentivly infront of the muggle radio Sirius had brought not too long ago. There bodies hunched over in their chairs as they leaned close, listening to whatever was playing.

"...Continuing the investigation into the cause of the Millennium Bridge disaster... All river traffic has been halted and police divers search for survivors. Surrounding area remains closed. The man, known to..."

"Death Eaters?" Luci asummes, although it came out as more of a question, as she spoke over the muggle radio. Not expecting to hear the girl's voice both Regulus and Sirius jump slightly before turning in their seats to see her standing in the doorway. Her body leaning against the door frame.

Regulus nodded. "It seems to point to them."

"Diagon Alley was attacked as well." Sirius chimes, glancing from his brother. This wasn't public information just yet, due to how recent it had occurred, but a member of the Order had been there and so made the attack aware to the other members.

"And will the Ministry being doing anything about it?" Luci asks not expecting a good answer.

"It's too early to tell." Regulus sighs. He knew of his daughters opinions on the Ministry and so wasn't expecting anything less when she shook her head in annoyance.

"Typical." She sighed rolling her eyes. "Which, in other words, means no." She added curtly, referring to the Ministry's denial in Voldemort's return at the end of the Tri-Wizard Tournement and the hell they put Harry through last year because of it. Following that she never forgive them. Not that Sirius and Regulus blamed her.

A heavy silence fell over the three as the conversation naturally stopped. The only noise to be heard was the radio. After a while, and with wanting to change the subject, Regulus readjusted himself in his chair so he could look at his daughter properly. "How's packing coming along?" He asked sincerly. Pushing herself off and away from the door frame, Luci joined them at the table as Sirius turned the radio off.
