(Request) Summer Holidays- Sirius

Request: So Sarah is Lily's cousin, who is visiting her on her summer holidays, and when one day the boys are visiting Lily they meet Sarah. Immediately all of them take a liking to her. Sirius, James, Peter and Remus try to impress her in their own ways, asking Lily for advice etc. Sarah ends up with Sirius btw.

A.N: I hope it was okay that I wrote Sarah as a muggle. I thought it worked better this way.

The summer holidays came around quickly. Not that Sarah was complaining however, it meant she didn't have to wait as long to see her cousin, Lily Evans, again. She loved seeing Lily, every chance they got to meet up was a delight. The pair would cherish it. That would be until Petunia would barge in and ruin it but we digress.

Knocking on her cousin's door, Sarah waited a moment before the door opened. A very annoyed looking Petunia was standing in the doorway. That was the thing with Petunia, she didn't hate Sarah as she too was a muggle. But it was Sarah's love for the magical world and how excepting she is of Lily being "different" which annoyed her.

Petunia often mocked Sarah for her love of the magical world saying things like, "Why do you love a world you could never be apart of?" Which was the main question she'd ask. But as usual Sarah would ignore it.

She didn't care if she could never be apart of the magical world but it didn't stop her from wanting to know all about it.

"Hey Petunia, how have you been?" Sarah greeted, smiling to her cousin. Petunia wasn't having any of it.

"She's upstairs." She mumbled ignoring the question and sidestepping to let Sarah in.

"Oh okay. Thank you." Sarah responded as she stepped inside. Closing the door, Petunia walked off into the living room. "Well that was rude." Sarah breathed rolling her eyes, watching her spiteful cousin walk off out of sight.

Shaking her head she ran off upstairs to her favourite cousin. Lily must have heard the exchange as when Sarah got to the top of the stairs Lily was standing there waiting. An amused smirk plastered on her lips.

"She's a salty person. She'll get over it. Come on." With that Lily dragged Sarah into her bedroom before closing the door.

The two girls barely slept a wink last night, at least not until the early hours of the morning. They just got too carried away with talking to each other. Exchanging gossip. It was like this everytime they met up. So at this point it was like clockwork. It was expected. So with that, Mr and Mrs Evans didn't expect the girls to emerge from Lily's room any eariler then 9am. Even that time may have been pushing it.

None the less the two did emerge just after 9am and that was only because the pair got hungry. Sarah more so.

Trudging downstairs and making themselves some breakfast, they were sat at the table when Lily spoke up. "Some of my friends from Hogwarts are coming to visit later today. We're just going to the park but do you wanna come?"

"Of course!" Sarah exclaimed excitedly. "Did you even have to ask?" She laughed, making Lily join in.

"However I must warn you, three of them are sweethearts-" Lily said seriously before cutting herself off. "That might be pushing it with Sirius but we'll go with it." She mumbled, looking away and thinking to herself. Sarah just staring at her with confusion.

"Anyway." She spoke getting herself back on track. "Three of them are sweethearts but the fourth is a bit of a dick." She explained with a smile. Sarah knew a little bit about Lily's friends, so it was clear to say that Sarah had a fair guess as to who Lily was calling a dick.
