What the hell did you do?- The Marauders

With it being the weekend you and Remus, unlike the rest of your friend group, spent the day in the library reading and doing homework.

"Ah, finished." You cheered pushing the book away from you happily before glancing over at your friend.

Remus shortly followed as he too had finally finished all his homework. "Shall we head back to the common room?" He asks closing his book.

"Yeah, I wonder what the others have been doing?" You ask packing your things away as Remus does the same.

Glancing at each other you both give the same 'I don't even want to know' look before laughing.

Walking back to the common room carrying your books, you open the door to see a complete mess. The whole room was in bits.

Curtains ripped and barely hanging on the curtain poles, the curtain poles themselves were broke. Furniture completely wrecked. Books open and ripped across the floor. Loose papers scattered on the floor as well. In fact the only thing that wasn't broken or wrecked was the fire place.

You and Remus looked at each other before cautiously walking in the common room. The more you stared at the state of the room the more it looked like a bomb had hit it.

Treading carefully you wandered if anyone was hurt or if one of the professors had heard what ever had gone on in here. Remus had walked off to another part of the common room as you continued to where the fire place is.

Thinking about it though you came to the conclusion that this must of been caused from either James or Sirius if not both. Nearing the fire place you saw someone lying on the floor.

Realising it's James you didn't bother helping him up instead you lightly kicked him with your foot.

He groaned in response looking up at you with blurry eyes. "What the hell was that for?"

"Never mind that, what the hell did you do to the place?" You shot back. James picked himself off the floor grabbing his head as if he has a headache.

By this point Remus had found Sirius and were walking over to you two. James glanced at Sirius before looking around at the state of the room.

"It didn't work." He comments sadly.

"Ah man and we were working on that all morning!" Sirius whines standing beside you.

"What do you mean it didn't work?" Remus asked knowing full well what they had done.

"Please dont say you two were working on another prank." You prayed only to have them smile at you.

"You guys were at the library and we were bored so we decided to come up with a new prank. It didn't work." Sirius explained picking up some of the books.

"Gathered that." You muttered.

For the next couple of hours the four of you cleaned up the common room, putting the books and papers back by hand but using your wands to fix the curtains and furniture.

Although it ended up being mainly you and Remus because the other two kept messing around. They kept making paper aeroplanes before throwing them at each other.

But finally the common room was back to it's normal relatively clean state. Sighing you plonked yourself down on one of the chairs exhausted.

"That was fun." James commented happily sitting down. All you and Remus could do was stare.

"Let's do it again." Sirius smiles mischievously before standing up.

"No!" You all shouted at once.
