(Request) Boys- Remus

Imagine: I was thinking about a lil love triangle between James, Sarah (the reader) and Sirius. Yk like they both are trying to ask her out but later find out that Remus beat them to it and now Remus and Sarah are dating.

Boys. Boys were probably one of life's greatest mysteries. Or at least to Sarah it was. She knew they weren't any different to muggle boys. She knew that for a fact, having grown up with two muggle brothers herself.

Although truth be told, Sarah didn't believe all boys were the same in that respect. The one that came to mind was Remus. He's quiet the open book once you get to know him.

Which brought her back to her original thought. Boys. Whenever this occurred to her or she was having boy trouble in general Sarah always went to her closest friend for her advice.

"LILY!" She yelled walking into the common. Sitting on the sofa nearest the fire was the red head in question.

Looking up from her book she smiled. "They were doing it again!" Sarah continued to groan as she walked over to her. Clearing the books off the sofa, Lily moved her legs as Sarah dropped herself onto the seat.

"How obvious were they making it this time?" Evans questioned. Lily knew of the little love triangle between Sarah, James and Sirius and to be honest she found it rather funny. Not that she'd admit it to Sarah of course. It meant that Lily wasn't the subject of James' flirtatious obsession.

"They were "whispering" over who will be my partner for the Charms project that Professor Flitwick set." Sarah explained exaggerating the word "whispering".

"Oh god!" Lily laughed now sitting up on the sofa. "And who won?"

"I'm stuck with Sirius." Sarah sighed. Truth be told she did admire the pair, James for his confidence which at times could be mistaken for his ego and Sirius for his rebellious attitude towards everything. The only problem being that Sarah didn't love them the way they currently do for her. Yes she loves them but as friends not as lovers.

As if on que the two boys in question come bounding in, laughing like idoits. James is the first to notice Lily and Sarah and immediately smirks. "Evans. Sarah." He greets with a slight nod making the girls awkwardly nod and smile back whereas Sirius stops laughing and stares at Sarah.

"So when do you want to start the project? I was thinking maybe tomorrow after lunch." Sirius asks referring to the Charms project.

Lily glanced at Sarah as she nodded in agreement. "Great see you then." The older boy smiled before dragging James away with him.

"Can't wait!" Sarah replied back. Lily picked up on the sarcasm but waited for the boys to be completely out of sight before she said anything.

"Your face." She laughed. Glaring at her friend, Sarah leaned back on the sofa.

"Urgh...." she groaned.

Not long after, the other two Marauders made an appearance. Lily had gone back to reading while Sarah remained lying down on the sofa. This time it was Lily that spotted the pair.

"Hey Remus. Peter." She greeted knowing full well it would get Sarah's attention. Returning the greeting, the boys, well Peter, were about to head up to their dorm when noise came from the sofa beside Lily.

"Remus?" Sarah muttered under her breath. "Remus." She blurted out while sitting up straight making Lily stifle a laugh.

The pair stared at her giving her a confused look. Peter's was one of genuine confusion where as Remus held a more amused one then anything.
