"barnes, y/l/n. come here now!" tony shouted. i groaned and pulled the covers over my head.
"tell him to shut up" pietro whined, i lifted my head slightly to see pietro asleep on the ground, hugging a pillow. tony kept shouting, my anger levels rising with every word.
"jarvis, please tell tony to shut up" i mumbled.
"of course miss y/n".
there was no more shouting after that, pietro and i sighed in relief.

a few minutes passed and suddenly the blankets which were covering me were pulled off. i looked up to see tony standing there with his arms crossed, he frowned when he realised i was still wearing yesterday's suit.
"what?" i whined, trying to get my blanket out of his grasp.
"up now and get your ass to the kitchen" he said sternly. once he left, i pulled myself out of bed and went into the bathroom to get dressed and brushed my teeth. when i walked back out, pietro was sprawled out on my bed.

"what's up?" i asked tony whilst making myself a cup of coffee. before tony could speak, bucky walked into the kitchen. i rolled my eyes and lifted the cup to take a sip, before i could, tony took the mug out of my hand and set it down.
"what's up y/n is that". he said, pointing to the bruise on my neck and the bruise on bucky's cheekbone.
"we got attacked during the mission" bucky grumbled. i looked over at him, the lie could be heard in every word.
"nice try bucky" bruce said as he walked in.
"what do you mean?" bucky asked.
tony pulled up a holographic security video of what happened in the jet yesterday. it showed bucky pouncing at me and then me deciding to swing at his face after we sat down.

the room was quiet, none of us had realised that the rest of the group had walked in whilst tony had pulled up the video.
"so, care to explain?" tony asked. i shuffled uncomfortably and bucky scratched the back of his neck.
"she's fucking crazy"
"he's fucking crazy"
bucky and i said at the same time. then again the room went dead silent. we glared at eachother, if looks could kill, we'd both be six feet under.
"well. since you two are getting on well. you two will be partners from now on. training, missions, everything. until you both stop being immature", fury said. i span around,
shit i didn't know he was here
"but-" bucky and i both began protesting.
"no. the decision's final" fury said.

once fury left, everyone left the room. leaving me and my so called 'partner' standing in silence.
"this doesn't mean we'll ever be friends" bucky said suddenly. i scoffed and crossed my arms over my chest.
"who ever said i wanted to be your friend" i replied. he continued staring at me, his facial expression remaining the same.
"no one ever told me that you'd be such a bitch". he muttered. i took a step forward and lifted my chin up.
"you say that like it's a bad thing" i hissed.
"if you get hurt on any upcoming mission when it's just us there. i hope you know, i won't be saving your ass". he growled back.
ouch.
"shit barnes, you really know how to hurt someone's feelings" i deadpanned, sarcasm flowing through my voice.
"you act tough but we all know you're just a whiny little bitch" he replied. i chuckled and shook my head,
"call me a bitch again and i swear i'll rip off that arm and shove it straight up your ass" i said harshly before walking out.

bucky's pov
"you act tough but we all know you're just a whiny little bitch" i said, looking down at her annoying ass face. she laughed and took another step forward.
"call me a bitch again and i swear i'll rip off that arm and shove it straight up your ass" she deadpanned and shoved past me.
i scoffed and shook my head, someone cleared their throat behind me and i turned around to see clint sitting there, a bag of popcorn in his hand.
"that was fucking hot" he stated. i rolled my eyes and took some popcorn from his bag,
"she's a bitch" i murmured.
"a hot bitch" clint said. i kept quiet and continued eating the popcorn slowly, my thoughts spinning through my mind.
yeah she is a hot bitch.
