Star's POV

We were outside on the school's 'football field', which was actually just an area of grass and the benches where we sat on. Nevertheless, I was super excited for our first pep rally. "Oh, my gosh! I can't wait, I can't wait! Comet and my very first pep rally! I'm so excited" I bumped the beach ball, which was passed from student to student and a little rabbit-like creature appeared from my wand and landed on Comet. Marco, who was sitting on the other side of me asked "When aren't you excited?" "Shh." I put a finger in front of his mouth. Principal Skeeves was on the field below, holding a microphone, which made his voice way louder than it actually was. "And now, Brittney Wong, who became head cheerleader on her own and not because her dad made a  generous donation to the school" he announced, but got hit by the beach ball. The Spirit Committee ran onto the field and carried a girl with long black hair. "Go, Echo Creek! Let's try not to get beat! Go, Echo Creek! Let's try not to get beat! Go, go, go, go, yeah!" they sang rhythmically. The girl, Brittney, walked off the cheerleaders and to Skeeves. She snatched the microphone out of his hand and said "Make some noise if you love the Awesome Opossums!" The crowd cheered, and I cried "I love opossums! They carry their babies on their backs!" I sat down again and Marco said "You know she's talking about our football team, right? We're going against the Warriors." He shuddered. "Warriors?" Comet repeated. "Our rivals from Silver High Prep" Alfonzo informed us from behind. Comet and I looked at the boys. "Every year, their team slaughters our guys." "It's gonna be a bloodbath" Miss Skullnick, still a troll surprisingly joined our conversation. I exchanged a look with my sister, who had a shocked expression on her face. "That's terrible!" She said. I nodded "We must do something!" "Well, you could join the Spirit Committee" Marco suggested "Those kids are relentless when it comes to supporting the team." We saw a boy exclaiming "Opossums!" as he performed a leg split while holding a pair of pennants. "Relentless" Marco repeated. "What a great idea! Come on you two, we better pick up some supplies" I told them."As fun as that sounds, you can go without me" Marco said. "Okay," I told him and Comet and I got up. I grabbed her by her hand, the way I have done since we were little babies in our little cribs. Before we got out, I turned to Miss Skullnick and asked "Hey, Skullzy. What's your favorite weapon?" "Battleaxe" she replied. I clicked my teeth and Comet and I got out of the crowd. "So what are we going to do?" Comet asked. "I'm not sure" I answered truthfully "I mean, we don't know, what the Spirit Committee already has." "Then let's just go to the committee and see what they have. I'm sure we'll find them in the gymnasium" she suggested. "Yeah, that's a good idea" I said. We walked down the hall. "You know, I think we should talk with the Warriors. I don't understand why they want to hurt our team so bad" Comet explained. "What? No way! I'm not letting my baby sister go to some cruel people. We have no idea what they could do. We have to defend ourselves" I told her. "Okay, okay, I get it. And don't call me 'your baby sister'. I'm merely 8 minutes younger than you" she replied. "Exactly" I grinned. We passed a vitrine. I stopped Comet and we looked at the pictures of many young men on the football team. "So many young men. So many tragic losses" I sighed with tears in my eyes and breathed on the glass to draw a sad face on it. Marco came next to us. "Oh, Marco" I said, startling him. He fell onto the ground and stood up. "How can we prevent another tragic loss to our team?" "Well, if I knew anything about football, I'd use the element of surprise" Marco stated. Comet and I listened to him "Of course, of course, of course..." I agreed, nodding. "Spritz 'em! Bring out the kitty cat offense!" he added more excited now. "Yes?" I asked. "Maybe even throw a couple of bombs!" "Bombs! Yeah, we've gotta go tell the Spirit Committee. Bye!" I grabbed Comet and we ran to the gymnasium. In front of the gym, we could hear Brittney saying "Don't worry, Sabrina. The Spirit Boys are gonna catch you. Grow some pompoms!" I burst the door open and we entered the gym. The girl named Sabrina was in mid-fall, but the boys were so shocked, that they forgot to catch her. She landed on the floor. Next to her was a boy with pompoms in his hands. I snatched one from him and pulled the handle out. "Do they explode?" I asked and threw it across the room. Nothing happened. "Maybe we can set them on fire!" I just wanted to use my wand to blast a spell on the other when Brittney appeared behind me and said "Uh, we're kinda in the middle of something?" Comet and I looked at her and I asked "You're the leader. What's the plan?" Brittney laughed and replied "This year we have a secret weapon." She snapped her fingers and Chantal and another cheerleader joined her. "We're gonna distract them with our booty-shaking dance moves. Uh-huh" Brittney explained and the three of them started shaking their buts. Comet blushed and I too could feel the heat rising in my cheeks. "Do you know nothing about combat?!" I asked bewildered "No Warrior is gonna be distracted by Chantal's booty!" Chantal stopped and said "Wha.." "Luckily for you, our mom assigned the royal guards as Comet and my babysitter. Oh, remember the time where he showed us how to fight monsters?" I asked Comet as I thought about it. Comet and I had been together with Mike, the guard. He had taken my toy and said "You know you've done it right when you hear the neck snap." He had twisted the toy till the cotton stuffing had popped out. I remembered me jumping up and down and clapping my hands excitedly while Comet made a disgusted face. I chuckled. Brittney brought me back into the present. "Listen Butterface and Purple-Eyes. I know on planet 'Moo-ni' or wherever it is you two are from, it may be okay to be stupid, but no pesky magical foreigner is gonna question my leadership! You are officially banned from the Spirit Committee!" She whipped her hair. "Fine!" I snapped back. "Seems like it's all up to us." Brittney took her megaphone and said "Okay, thanks for coming out! Come back never!"

A/N: This is part one from School Spirit! Hope you enjoyed it. I'm thinking aboout making the next chapter from Marco's POV. Should I just summon up what happened or start from the beginning? What do you think? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments! ^-^
