Comet's POV

Marco and I skipped to a halt and looked at the sight in front of us in shock. The lockers were open, and boys were stuck inside of them. A purple, goo/vine-like web kept them inside the lockers.

"Hey! You gotta get us out of here!", a boy yelled. "What theeee...? Comet...", Marco tapped my shoulder and pointed towards the sky. I looked up and saw a purple butterfly form of Star soaring along with another boy. She put him into a free locker and sprayed him with her web.

Marco walked up and tried to stop her. "Star, you gotta get a hold of yourself. You're scaring everyone." Star ignored us and kept trapping the boy. "I said, stop!", Marco yelled, and grabbed her arm. "Marco!", I exclaimed, pulling him away from Star. Was he crazy?! He was a boy himself, it was dangerous for him to be so blunt!

"Now she's mad", the boy trapped by Star whimpered. Star turned to Marco and I, her glowing heart eyes piercing us. She started spraying Marco with the web. "Star, stop it! This isn't you, this isn't right!", I told her, trying to pull her away from Marco. She pulled into the opposite direction, making me pull even harder. Suddenly, I heard the sound of a poorly played keytar. Star stopped pulling, making me fall to the ground in surprise. Star quickly flew into the air. "Oh come on Star."

I picked myself up and freed Marco from the web. "We have to stop her!", Marco yelled. "No, Marco, we'll only make it-", I started but was interrupted by him. "That should work!", he ran to get a tennis net and caught Star with it. "-worse."

Marco screamed in panic as he was flung into the air by Star. I ran to Glossaryck. "Glossaryck, I need a spell to help Star and Marco!" Glossaryck appeared again. "Comet, I told you, you cannot stop nat- What in the world is that boy doing!", he said, staring at Marco, still refusing to let go of the net. "Okay, listen Comet. You have to make him let her go!", Glossaryck told me seriously. I hesitated. I didn't want to hurt Star. But if keeping her close meant hurting all the people around us... "Don't worry, she'll be fine", Glossaryck said, sensing my hesitance.

I looked at him and nodded. Mom said I could trust him, and right now, he was my only hope.

"Marco!", I yelled, as he skidded past me. "Yes?", he yelled back. " You have to let Star go!", I exclaimed. Marco looked at me bewildered. "What?! Are you crazy?!", he yelled. "Please, trust me! Let Star go!", I pleaded. Marco hesitated, but then let go of the net. He fell onto the ground. "Marco! Are you okay?", I asked him worriedly.

We looked up into the sky, where Star disappeared into the clouds with Oscar and his car. "Goodbye, Star", Marco sighed. I silently prayed that I had made the right decision in listening to Glossaryck.

It was silent, and I almost missed the sound of Oscar's keytar. Suddenly, a purple heart leaf fell onto Marco's head. We looked up into the sky, from which Purple Hearts were falling all over the place. I heard an increasing keytar sound, and before I could react, Marco pulled me back quickly. The car crashed onto the ground, where I had been crouching just a moment ago. "Oh my gosh", I breathed out, realizing Marco had just saved my life.

A scream coming from the sky made me look up in alarm. Oscar fell onto his car, without any injuries. "What's up.", he asked us, completely unnerved by what had just happened.

Another crash came from behind the car. On a pile of purple leafs, Star- the normal Star, emerged from it. "Ohhh...", she groaned. "Star!", Marco and I yelled, happy and relieved. We ran to her and engulfed her in a group hug. "You came back!" Marco cheered. "You're okay!", I said, hugging my sister tightly. She smiled and hugged us back.

A light buzzing from Star's back made Marco stumble back surprised. "What was that?", he asked. I smiled. "Star, you have wings now!", I cheered. Star turned around and pulled her hair into a ponytail. She looked behind her. "Look! I got my mewberty wings!", she squealed.

"Does that mean you can fly?", Marco asked amazed. "Let's test it out!", Star quickly said, grabbing Marco's arm. She jumped into the air, before immediately falling to the ground again. I giggled a little, helping the two of them up. "Those wings are way to small for flying. Otherwise I would've done it ages ago", I said. Star smiled cheerfully. "Guess we'll have to find a different way to fly then."
