Chapter 19: He Saved Me....

Sasuke Pov

After he cooled down, we were walking towards a hot topic since we both haven't been to one in a while. As we were walking towards the store, I saw two strange guys come out of the store bumping people as they went. "Geez what was that all about?" "....I dont know." I said feeling a little uneasy. As soon as were at the entrance of the store, there was an explosion.

Me and Naruto were close enough to be tossed back really hard. I couldn't move for a few seconds. I try lifting up my head slowly. "Naru..to....'cough' Naruto!" I looked around slowing and all I saw was smoke. I kept coughing while trying to get up. "Naruto, where are you?!" I finally got up and held on to my arm. 'Crap...I think my arm is dislocated.' I then heard someone coughing. "Sasuke! I'm ov--'Cough' over here!" I made my way over to him. Couple of seconds later, I found him laying on the ground. 'Thank god..' I walked over to him and while I was walking towards him I saw something that caught my eye. I tried to focus on the item. When my eyes had focused I saw that it was a bag... with wires. My went wide. I looked over to Naruto and he was struggling to stand up. I was in a lot of pain, but I ran straight to him and covered him.

"Sasuke what ar---" He started talking but was cut off due to the other explosion.

Itachi Pov

Deidara and I were hanging out on the sofa making jokes about one another while the TV was on in the background. "They seem to be getting closer huh..." Yeah and I'm glad too. To be honest this is the most friends he's made ever since we moved back." I said low. He looked at me with a confused look. "He didn't make friends after you guys moved?....." I shook my head. "No... he always kept to himself. But after we moved back and he was starting school... then here comes Naruto, being nice to him and becoming his friend on the same day. Then the next thing I knew he has a group of friends in less then a week, which I was surprised." "I'm kind of surprised too, but as long as he's happy.' He said with a smile. I smiled back and nodded.

Me and Deidara had gotten closer pass these two months.... We text each other almost everyday, hangout from time to time. It's been great having him back in my life... I missed him so much the years we weren't here. 'You have no idea how much my feelings have grown for you Deidara the way you laugh, the way you smile.... just everything. I have to tell him.' I got up from the couch telling Deidara I'll be back. He nodded and his attention went back to the TV. I smiled and went into the kitchen looking for some snacks and drinks for the both of us. I found some chips and but some in a big bowl, some sweets and grabbed two sodas.Taking a deep breath before going back to the living room. After calming down, I grabbed everything off the counter and went back over to him and sat everything on the table.

He sat up from the couch once he saw the snacks. "Oooo chips and cake." "Crap I left the sodas in the kitchen, I'll be back." He nodded and started eating the chips. I grabbed the sodas and did another scan around the kitchen to see if there was anything else we can snack on. "Oh my god...." I heard him say from the kitchen. I looked over at him and saw him standing with his hands covering his mouth. I got concerned and jogged over to him to see what was wrong. "Deidara what's wrong?" He had tears in his eyes. I looked at the TV and my heart dropped. The news was on and it showed the mall that Sasuke and Naruto went to....

"We interrupt your shows with breaking news. Today at Konoha Mall, there was an explosion. We are still unaware on what the cause of it was, we are going to look at the footage before the explosion took place later today. From what we know, it was two separate bombs and 20 people were injured, most of them being teenagers and the rest adults. They were sent to the hospital some of them being critical. Please stay tuned f---"

Deidara turned the TV off and looked over to me. "Itachi. Itachi look at me... Come on we have to hurry to the hospital, they have to be at there already." He said in a soft voice to keep me calm and not worried. But I was just filled with worried.....'Sasuke....' I felt Deidara tug my arm, leading me to his car. He first grabbed the house keys and locked the front door. I got into the passenger seat while got he got in the driver's seat. He started the car and drove off as fast as he can to the hospital. My thoughts were all over the place. 'Sasuke... Naruto... please be okay..' I took out my phone and went to my contacts. Deidara glanced on what I was doing. "Who you calling?" "Tsunade I dont know if she knows or not.." He nods and continue to drive.

I scrolled through my contacts until I finally found her number. I clicked on it and waited for her to pick up. "Hello Itachi. It's been a while, what can I do for you?" I sighed. She doesn't seem to know what had happened at the mall today yet. "Do you think you can meet me... at the hospital?" "The hospital?! Are you okay?" "Yeah... Its not for me..." "Then why do you want me at the hospital? What's going on?" I took a deep breath. "There's been a bombing at the mall where Sasuke and Naruto were at...I'm heading over there now." "....What?..... I'll be there in 30 minutes." She ends the call. I put my phone back in my pocket and took another deep breath. The car stopped due to a red light. I felt Deidara's eyes on me, then I felt him grab my hand tightly. I looked over at him and he gave me a sad smile. I returned it and looked forward again.

~At The Hospital~

Once we made it to the hospital, Deidara quickly found parking and we both ran into the hospital. I looked around seeing a lot of doctors and nurses run all over the place. I went up to the counter and spoke to the nurse behind it. "Excuse me, I'm looking for Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki... Are they here?!" "Relax sir, give me a second..." "I don't have a second." "Are you family to one of the patients?" "Sasuke Uchiha is my brother." "What about Naruto Uzamaki?" Crap... they won't let me see him unless he's family.... "He's My brother's boyfriend" I felt Deidara's on me again. This is the only way, I have to make sure their Both okay. "Okay, Naruto Uzamaki is in room 201 and Sasuke Uchiha is in the ER due to him being really critical condition" I felt my eyes go wide when I heard about Sasuke. I started breathing a little faster by the second. Deidara must have notice cause he put his arms around me and kept telling me that it's going to be alright. After I pulled myself together I looked at Deidara. "Thank you for that." "No problem." "Okay, since Tsunade is not here yet to go see Naruto I will." "You're not going to see Sasuke first?!" I sighed. "I do, I really do.... but someone has to be with Naruto right now. I don't want to leave him alone." He nods in understanding. He went the other way to Sasuke and I went to the second floor for Naruto.

Naruto Pov

I squinted my as I woke up due to the bright lights. I moaned in pain. 'Ughhhh my leg...' I looked down to see that my leg is in a cast. I got used to the lights and started looking around slowly... A hospital room. Then out of nowhere, I remember what happened earlier. 'There was....a bombing at the mall, me and Sasuke were caught in it. Then Sasuke covered me before the---' I cut my thoughts off. "Sasuke!" I started to look around my bed for the call button to bring a nurse in here. After finding it, I pressed the button twice. A few seconds later, there was a knock on the door. 'That was fast' They opened the door before I could even say come in, to my surprise it was a nurse, it was Itachi. I felt tears fill my eyes. "Naruto! Thank god your okay." He came up to me and gave me a warm and gentle hug. I let my tears fall, they landed on his shoulders.

"Itachi have you seen Sasuke yet?! Please tell me he's okay!" "I actually don't know yet... Deidara is going to be with him... I wanted to make sure your okay until Tsunade comes." I grabbed his shirt. "No! Please go see if he's okay! I'm really worried! He---" "I'm staying until Tsunade comes okay. Deidara will text me when he's with him." I let go and I covered my eyes with one hand and my mouth with the other. He started rubbing my shoulder. "Do you remember anything that happened before the explosion?" I just nodded. "We were just walking... we were looking at window displays at first.... Then we decided to go into Hot Topic. We saw two strange guys run out the store. Then.... it happened. We both flew back since we were close...." I said lifeless while feeling tears run down both my cheeks. "And...and I guess he saw the other bomb cause that's when he protected me...." "He protected you? How?" I took a deep breath. "He layed on top of me...." I chocked out a sob and cried more. "He saved me..."

Another Updatttteee! I know.... I said I wasn't going to write today but I dont have work today soooo I was kind of bored and had nothing better to do lol So here it is, I hope you guys enjoy, Chapter 20 in the process so that should also be out soon lol peace out lol
