Chapter 42: Unexpected Visitor

Just around the corner and I'll be at the house. Hopefully Grandma is in a good mood this morning and wont go hard on me about the mark on my face and also ask any questions about last night. I really dont wanna talk about with her cause I definitely know that she's gonna go crazy...on me.

I turned the corner saw my house. I got closer and saw someone was sitting on the steps. Who the heck is on the steps? They put their head up and looked over my way. I stopped in my tracks and my eyes went wide. What the hell is he doing here? I ran over to him and stood in front of him out of breath a bit. "Naruto how co--" I put my hand up. "Why are you here? I told you that I dont want to see or talk to you." He got up and got closer to me, I just took a couple of steps back. "I mean it Sai, I want you to leave me alone." "Can we just talk? Please Naruto."  I was about to tell him no again until I heard the front door open. "I knew I heard talking out here. What are you guys doing out here? Come in it's kind of cold." I hid my face and just nodded. She's gonna flip when she sees my face.

I took off my jacket and hung it up in the closet. I saw Grandma in the kitchen making some tea. I gotta make this fast otherwise...I'm doomed. "Grandma, I'm gonna pack some clothes." I heard footsteps starting to come out the kitchen. "Oh okay. You're staying over at Sai's again?" "Nope. I'm staying over at Sasuke's." I went upstairs and went straight to my room, with Sai following.. Just leave me alone.

I closed my door, went into the closet to grab my bag and started filling it up with clothes. "Are you really not going to talk to me?" I shook my head and just kept putting what I need in the bag. He can stand there all he wants, I meant what I said about not wanting to talk to him. "Spending winter break at his place huh? Must be nice..." I closed my bag and sighed. He's not gonna leave me alone until we talk. I know it's gonna end badly but I wanna see what he has to say. I put the bag on the floor and sat on the bed. "You have 10 minutes..." He nods. "Okay.." He grabbed the chair from my desk and kept his distance.

"First thing, I'm sorry about smacking you....didnt realize it was you and I was just trying to shake off the person who was holding me back." I just looked at him. "...Did you really think that no one was going to stop you? You were punching Sasuke for a straight minute. His face is swollen...and then you actually started to choke him...are you crazy?" "That was because he started punch me---" I rolled my eyes. "You sound like a child right now." "And that he kissed you! Do you think I wasn't going to get mad at the fact that he kissed you?!" I stood up from the bed. "I kissed him first!" He didnt say anything, he just looked at me with wide eyes. Why does he care anyway? All he cared about was Ino...

I crossed my arms and slowly sat back down on the bed. "So you really did kiss him first..." I raised an eyebrow. "You knew?" "He told me that he would've kissed you first...but you beat him to it." I blushed. Of course Sasuke will say that. "But that's not the real reason why you choked him...Its cause he pushed Ino, wasn't it? And dont lie to me." He sighs and nods his head. Of course it was...I'm not surprised.

I sighed. "You know, I wasn't there when Sasuke was talking with his brother about what happened...but I know that he wasn't happy.." He looked at me, waiting for me to continue. "He's very protective of Sasuke." "What does he have to do with me?" "Everything Sai...You almost killed his only relative he has left...You just dont think it's you're problem cause it wasn't you." He rolled his eyes and leaned back into the chair. "I barley put my hands arou--" I cut him off. "Sasuke's neck is swollen. He had hand marks on his neck yesterday that was getting worse by the hour. This morning...they looked horrible. Dont worry, you'll be able to see them since they wont go away anytime soon.."
