Chapter 33: Another Night Together

Naruto Pov

After I was done calming myself down, I went back into Sasuke's room and got the blanket from the floor and was ready to leave the room until I heard my phone rang. "It's probably Sasuke asking me why am I taking so long." I took out my phone out of my pocket to see that it wasn't Sasuke who was calling me...It was Sai.

I looked at my screen, deciding if I wanted to answer it or not. I shook my head and just let it ring. I'm not in the mood to be dealing with him at the moment. The ringing stopped but started up again. I sighed and just let it ringed again. I grabbed the blanket and left the room, leaving my phone there. I closed the door and made my way back downstairs. I saw Sasuke was on his phone with a bored look, but I swear I saw his eyes lit up when he saw me. He put his phone down and saw that I had the soft cozy blanket in my hand. "I see you found the blanket." I smiled and tossed it to him. "Yup! Cant hide it from me that easily." He caught it and put it next to him. "What took so long? I'm pretty sure that I didn't hide it that hard." I smirked at him but then dropped it seconds later. "Sai called....Not talking to him at the moment." He nods in understating and didnt ask me anymore questions about it.

I appreciate that he didnt press on about me not talking with Sai. I respect that about Sasuke, he doesn't pressure me to talk about things that are bothering me and when he does want to talk about it, he always ask first. I smiled and took a glance at him and studied his face. His face may seem expressionless, but when he's around certain people he lights up, I noticed that after a month of us hanging out. When its just the two of us... he acts different. A good different. I kept my smile then turned away from him and watched the movie that he picked for us. I took one more glance at Sasuke and as soon as I did that, my heart started a little faster. I put my hand on my chest and paid it no mind.

~An Hour Later~

"What the heck is wrong with these movies that this guy makes?! Their crazy!" He nodded and got up from the couch to stretch. "I dont know, but I like them...Its not like any other scary movie made. It has the right of things." He said as he picked up the trash from the table. I got up and helped. "That is true, but this movie was crazy. Matter of fact, I dont know which on was crazier." "Let's just say that they were both great in their own way..." He said making his way to the kitchen. I followed right behind him, smiling to myself. I threw away the trash then made my way to the sink to start washing the dishes. "You don't have to do that Naruto." Sasuke told me when he got next to me. I shook my head and gently put my hand on his chest. "No, I got it. It's the least I can do for telling you I'm staying over last minute. Allsoooo, you should still be taking it easy, so go sit. I'll be fine." He just rolled his eyes and smirked.

I smiled back at him then slowly looked at my hand that was still on his chest. I dont know why, but I couldn't move my hand away from him. I can feel his eyes on me. I looked back at him. He's just standing there looking at me. His eyes are so mysterious. I let out a shaky breath and slowly moved my hand off his chest. His chest is so muscular and toned, how come I never noticed that before. I felt my cheeks heat up. 'What the heck am I thinking?!' "I'm gonna get started on these dishes here, they ain't gonna do themselves." I said a little nervous. Sasuke just kept his smirk on his face and said nothing, He just nodded and went to go sit at the table. I turned around to the sink and got started. My heart is beating so freaking fast right now to the point that I think it's gonna explode! Get a grip!

I got the dishes in less then 10 minutes. Well, it was just a bowl and a couple of cups. I made sure everything was dried and put away. After I was done that I turned my attention to Sasuke who was on his phone. "Ready to head upstairs? You look tired." "I may look tired, but I'm actually not. It's just the medicine taking it's toll on me." I looked at him worried. "But you took it this morning didn't you?" "Yeah, but the doctor said this would happen so I'm not to worried about it...still gotta get used to it." I just nodded. Sasuke now looked towards me, giving me a small smile. He got up and stood in front of me, putting his finger under my chin lifting up my head. I felt my cheeks heat up. "I'll be alright Naruto, it's just how the medication works." I sighed. I slowly lifted up my hand and put it on Sasuke's chest. I can feel his heart beat. Steady and calm but getting a little faster. I took my hand off and gave him a big smile. "Come on, let's go upstairs and watch more moviiieesss!" He rolled his eyes and just nodded again and made our upstarts after turning off all the lights and locking the doors.
