Chapter 7:Messages and More Messages

Sasuke Pov

Its been a couple of hours since Itachi and I came back home. He was in the kitchen making dinner while I was in my room watching a show call 9-1-1. I heard many people talk about this show at my other school that I was in, so when I came home I gave it a try and it was pretty good so I continue to watch it. While I was turning up the volume for the tv, I felt my phone go off in my pocket. I took it out to see who was texting me. "Unknown Number?" I sat up in my bed and unlock my phone and tapped on it to see what the message was. I read it to see that it was Naruto. I looked at me phone confused and when I was about to respond to the message to ask how he got my number, I heard knocking at my door. "Come in..." He walks in and looks at me with a small smile. "Time for dinner." I nod and got up from my bed and followed Itachi downstairs to the kitchen table. "You know I can help with dinner sometime, You don't always have to do it." He smiles and sits. "I know, how about we take turns making dinner from now on, sounds like a deal?" "Yep and if you need help around the house just let me know." "What's gotten into you all of a sudden? Seems like growing on me again..." He says with a soft smile. I took a bite of my food and looked at him. "Well, I'll be 18 soon so I think it's time for me to help around the house and stuff..." He looks at me and just smiles and continues to eat.

"So.... Is everything with Diedara okay? Things seemed pretty... awkward." He didn't say anything, he just looked at his plate of food while I looked at him waiting for an answer. I sighed and took a bite of my food and just kept on waiting until he gave me an answer. I was about to take another bite when he started to talk. "It was pretty awkward, even after you left... I don't know if he's still made that I didn't tell him anything before we moved..." I looked at him confused. 'What?' " What do you mean you didn't tell him anything?" "Its just like I said... I didn't tell him anything." I just looked at him, I didn't say anything but just looked at him. 'He really didn't tell him anything? That's.....' He continues to eat his food while I look at him, not moving an inch. "Come on Sasuke, you don't have to keep on staring at me.... I know what I did was wrong but it was just to hard to tell him...." "I understand but still, he was your childhood friend, You should have told him." I said.

I got up and went over to the kitchen sink to was my plate. I turned around and looked at Itachi to see him still sitting at the table. 'Jeez This guy....' I sighed and went back to wash the dish. Once I was done I went back over to Itachi and sat next to him. He didn't move or say anything, neither did I. "Well... How did you feel when you saw him again?" He slowly looks at me and gives me a small smile. "It...felt great to see him again. But I was also scared." He said in a low voice. I looked at him as he told me how he felt. "I was scared because... I thought he would never talk to me again or that he was still mad at me for not telling him anything back then...." "Come on now, This is Deidara we're talking about... he'll come around then if not... you will go over to talk to him." "But I----" Before he said anything, put my hand over his mouth to keep him quite. "No. No buts... If he doesn't come around then YOU will go TALK to him. That's that." I remove my hand from his mouth and took my leave to go back to my room.

Naruto Pov

Its been an hour since I texted Sasuke, but he didn't text back. "I should've gave him my number when we we're at the park... Uggghhhh!" I collapse on my bed and waiting for him to text back. 'I really do hope he texts back... I made sure to put my name to show him that its me texting.' I sighed and grabbed my phone and looked at it and played a game on my phone while I wait. A couple of minutes have passed and still nothing. 'What's going on?' I thought. I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." "Hey Naruto dinner is almost ready, so go wash up." I looked at her and looked back at my phone and sighed. I nodded and sat up from my bed and put my phone in my pocket and went to my bathroom that was connected to my room.
