Chapter 18: Explosion

Naruto Pov

'After that, he took off home. When he left from my view, I collapse on the bench processing on what just happened. I shook it off as it was nothing.... Nothing at all. Then I thought out of the blue: 'I couldn't just say: "Oh, I think you and Kiba have been getting pretty close these past two months, so I wanted to know if he asked you out or something" It's really non of my business!' I thought. Ugggghhh I need help.'

~Later That Day~

I'm laying on my bed, thinking about what happened earlier between Sasuke and I. 'Now that I think about it... Stuff like that has been happening during the past two months...Me and Sasuke had gotten closer and I---' I cut my thoughts off, went straight to the bathroom turned on the sink and splash some water on my face. I sighed and took a deep breath trying to clear my thoughts of everything that happened. I went pace into my room and grabbed my phone and texted Sai. "Maybe texting Sai will help clear my mind of off things..." I texted Sai. As I was waiting for him to reply, I went downstairs to the kitchen to grab something to drink and something small to snack on. If I eat something big before dinner granny will kill me. I grabbed a can of soda and some chips then went back upstairs.

I gently kicked my door open then kicked it shut. I went over to my nightstand that was next to my bed and put everything down. I grabbed my phone to see if he texted me back.....Nothing. I sighed and put my phone down. "I'll wait a little longer... Can't always rush him to answer back." I said. I turned on the TV, put on a movie and started eating my snacks taking my off of things. A few minutes later I heard my phone go off. I paused the movie quickly and grabbed my phone. I saw that it was Kiba. I smiled and answered the call.

Naruto: Hey Kiba, Wassup?

Kiba: Hey Naruto, Have you heard from Ino? I've been calling her and texting her about hanging out with us next week since she wasn't here today.

Naruto: Actually no, I haven't from her all day...

Kiba: I asked everyone....Well except Sai, he's the last person I'll ask... not trying to be mean or anything but you know how I feel about him.

Naruto: 'Laughs' Yea I know, don't worry. I just texted Sai, I'm waiting for him to text me back. I'll ask him and I'll try texting her myself.

Kiba: Alright thanks man, have a good weekend. Text me whenever.

Naruto: Will do, see ya.

I hung up the phone and quickly texted Ino. 'Hey Ino, Kiba is trying to reach you... Is everything alright? Text me and call Kiba, he's pretty worried.' I hit send and waited a couple a minutes to see if she'll respond to my text right away. She didn't. I sighed and layed back down on my bed, unpaused the movie to finish watching it. I checked my phone from time to time but still nothing, so I just left it on my nightstand and decided to leave it alone until I actually needed it or if I get a text back.

I suddenly woke up when I heard a knock on my door. 'I must've fallen asleep during the movie...' I heard another knock. "Come in..." I said in a raspy voice due to the fact I just woke up. My door opened and saw granny peeked her head in. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you. There's food downstairs, but I'll wrap It for you so you can have it for breakfast okay?" "Okay, thank you granny." She nodded and gently said 'Goodnight' and with that she shut my door. I stretched my arms and my legs. I got up from my bed, went straight to my dresser and got out some PJs. After changing in the bathroom and brushing my teeth, I went back to my bed and got under the covers. I checked my phone for the time and one last look to see if anyone text or called. '9:57pm, 3 New Messages' There were messages from Sasuke, Ino and Sai.
