Chapter 3: Classmates

Sasuke Pov

We kept our eyes each other until Kakashi said: "You can take a sit Sasuke, Its homeroom so feel free to know your classmates... If you have any questions feel free to as me or Lady Tsunade." I nod and make my why to my seat next to Naruto. As I walk to my seat I felt eyes on me. 'Ugggghhh, What is there to stare at.... I'm just another person in this class. Leave me be.' I thought as I make way to my seat. Naruto looks up at me and smiles. I gave him a small smile back and sat down in the chair. "Its nice to see you again Sasuke, what are the chances that we have the same homeroom." "Yeah, what are the chances. Also thank you again for helping me earlier, my brother was really worried and sorry I made even more late to class." He gave me a another smile. "It was no problem, I'm glad I could help and don't worry about that, I was already late as it is" He said and I gave him a small smile back.

I was looking around the classroom to see everyone talking to one another and I really didn't want to talk to anyone and get to know them. 'What's the point in getting to know them and being friends with them if im just going to leave the school.. That's why I dont make friends.' I thought. I sighed and pulled my Class Schedule for the year...or the months. I have Biology next. As I was still looking at my schedule someone snatched it out of my hands. "What the---" "Look Sasuke we have the same classes... or most of them at least but anyway isn't that awesome! We mostly have the whole day together! So I can get to know you better!" I looked to see that it was Naruto who grabbed my paper. After hearing what he said I smiled. "That's great, we have to stay in homeroom for the first day, but tomorrow will be great." "Of course it will, it doesn't hurt to make a friends or two." I smiled and nod. 'Maybe having one friend wont be so bad... Itachi wants me to friends... I should try for him, to make him happy' I thought.

Naruto looked like he was about to say something but he was cut off. "Sorry I didn't catch your name from before." I look up to see they guy that was with Naruto and that girl. I looked at him with my normal bored expression. "Sasuke Uchiha. You?" "I'm Sai, It's nice to meet you. I see you and Naruto are becoming good friends already." "Yup! We have mostly all the same classes so I get to know about him more and we'll be great friends!" Naruto said with the biggest smile on his face. I smile. "Yeah, It doesn't hurt to make a friend... But I tend not to make a lot of friends when I go to different schools." Naruto looks at me with a confused face. "How many schools have you been to Sasuke?" ".....A lot" I look down and said nothing else.

Naruto Pov

I looked at him while he was looking down at his desk. 'A lot?' I thought while still looking at him. I guess I was looking at him to long cause he picked his head up and looked at me with a small smile. I gave him a smile back and I patted his back. "Well, all those other schools are on the past, right now you are at the best school ever. It's probably better then the others one that you been too!" I said in a excited voice and he smiled even more. "Heyy, what's going on over here, having a conversation without me?" I looked over to see Ino standing next to Sai, I smiled a little and Sasuke looked up at her . " You said your name was Sasuke, right?" "Yeah... and you must be Ino, right?" "The one and only.I have a random question for you.... what's your favorite type of girl?" I looked at her shocked and so did Sai but soon after he just sighed a gave her a small smile. I looked over to Sasuke to see his reaction... He didn't have one.

Ino looked at Sai in confusion and he did the same. I kept looking at Sasuke to see if was going to look at her but he didn't move or say a thing. I tapped him on is shoulder and he looked at me with a blink and annoyed expression. "By the look on your face.... You get asked these kinds of questions a lot right?" Yeah....you asked me if I had a girlfriend earlier." "I did, didn't I?" I said with a small smile while rubbing the back of my head. He smiled. "I don't have a girlfriend...I actull---" Ino jumped in and cutting off Sasuke."You don't have a girlfriend?! That's great, I mean it's not but.. you know. So Sasuke are you interested in dating anytime soon?" Sasuke looks at me and then looks at her. "I guess...." She looks at Sasuke with a smirk. "Okay, well I'll be off then, see you guys later." She says and gives Sai a look. Soon after Ino left Sai takes his leave. I wave to him and he waves back to me with a smile.

Sai and I used to be really close. I still see him and we still hangout and go on dates and other stuff like kissing, but we dont do any of that stuff as much anymore. I miss doing those kinds of things with him. I look over to Sai and he was standing right next to Ino. Sasuke looks at me and then over to Ino and Sai. "Those two are really close, are they dating or something?" I looked over to Sasuke and laugh a little. "No their not dating. Actually me and Sai are dating before the beginning of 10th grade. Also, me and Sai are childhood friends." 'Well I did see the two of you hold hands earlier... " He looks over back to them. "....They look so close though, don't you think so?" "Yeah, but I don't mind cause their good friends. I introduced Sai to Ino after a couple of weeks we started dating. After that they started to hangout more. I still see him but not as much... But I'm not worried." He gives me a small smile. I smile back at him.

I look over at the clock. 12:37pm. Its not of full day of school today since we just have to stay in our homeroom class. We leave the school at 1:00pm today. 'I wish that we had a full day today.." I look over to Sasuke to see he was sleeping. 'I wanted to get know Sasuke more so we can be become closer as friends...' I sighed and took out my sketch book and finished what I was drawing earlier. I was drawing a rose, I like to draw a lot and I like to dance too and I like to do other things that would keep me busy and that are fun. Sai and I used to do most of these things together, but since Ino and him started hanging out more, we really dont have time to spend with each other like we used to. I slowly stop drawing and put my pencil down on my book. I looked over to my right to see Sai and Ino talking to each other with big smiles on there faces. I sighed and put my head down.

I looked over to Sasuke and smiled a little. 'He has really long eyelashes...' I keep looking at him and the next thing I knew..... he opened his eyes. I jumped backed a little from the sudden action. He yawns and he looks over to me and rubs his eye. ".....How long were you staring at me?" "Ummmm I dont know what you're talking about...." I gave out a nervous laugh. He smirks at me and moves closer. I got kind of nervous and started blushing a little. "We both know that you were staring at me... I know that i'm very handsome but sadly you are taken. I started blushing even more, I ignore the blushing and laughed it off. "Okay okay you caught me. I was staring at you and glad you think you're handsome" "Do you think i'm not handsome?" "Weeeellll, You're okay looking..." I say as a joke and we both laugh a little. 'I bet were gonna be great friends by the end of the year.... Maybe even at the end of the week! We do have almost every class together, so maybe we can become great friends sooner then later!' I thought to myself happily. Sasuke looks like he was about to say something when the bell rung.

I looked at the clocked and it read: 1:00pm. '1:00pm already?' I looked over back to Sasuke putting his Class Schedule into a red folder and getting up from his seat. I hurried and put away my sketch book and pencils in my school bag and walked up to Sasuke and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and looked at me with his normal expression... I think. "What are you doing today? Maybe if you're free, Me, you Ino and Sai can all hang out. Maybe you can meet the rest of my friends as well!" He gave me a smile. "I would like to hang out with you today, but I have to go home to my brother and tell show him my class schedule. Maybe next time, I'll see you tomorrow Naruto" He walked off after he said his goodbye. I was a little sad that he couldn't join us, I wanted to get to know him better. "Don't worry, I got the rest of the year to become great friends with him." I mumbled to myself.

I walked back to where Sai and everyone else was at. I looked at Sai and he smailed at me and gave me a little kiss on the cheek. That's mostly what I get from him no and days, but im not gonna complain... I still love him and im glad that I can still see him everyday of course. But sometimes I wish he wasn't spending all his time with Ino. I know their great friends and im happy about that but I still want to spend time with my boyfriend like the way we used too. "So Naruto.... What's the new guy like? You guys kind of been chatting it up over there..." My friend Shikamaru asked. I rubbed the back of my head and smiled a little. "He seems really cool." "That's it? He seems really cool?" I nodded my head and looked out the window. "Does he have a girlfriend?" "No, he doesn't...." "Do you think he wants one?!" I looked over to my other friend Sakura. I smiled a little. "You know, you can just ask him.....I'm sure he wont bite you.... I think." I say unsure. I look over to everyone. "Okay guys lets go" Everyone got up and we all started to walk out of the school. 'A good first day, I hope tomorrow is better' I thought to myfself while walking with everyone.
