Chapter 15:Mom And Dad

Sasuke Pov

Itachi and I walked out the door, locked it and made our way to the car. I got in and put on my seatbelt. " Are you ready Sasuke? I know it's been a while and you're kind of nervous..." "Yeah, I'm ready, Its going to be nice seeing them again after all these years of being away..." We both sighed while he started the car. "Okay, let's get going." He backed out of the drive way and started to head down road to the cemetery. 'I wonder if Naruto is still at his place... or he's probably at the cemetery...' "I know Deidara already asked you about school, but how was your first week?" I looked at him and sighed. "If I'm being honest, it was better then the other schools that I went to... I actually made friends and without even trying on the first day too... It's amazing." "I'm glad that you're enjoying your time at school and that you're making friends, I really want to meet them all, maybe you can invite them over tomorrow for lunch." I nod and looked out the window the rest of the way.

~Couple Of Minutes Later~

I got out of the car while Itachi was going to park the car. "You remember where they are right?" "Yeah, I remember... I'll meet you there." He nods and drives off. I turn around and begin to walk up the stairs to the cemetery. 'The last time we were here was the day we were moving out of town.... then after that we never got the chance to come back until now. I feel guilty for being away so long but it couldn't be helped. Mom, Dad please forgive us.' I made it at the top of the stairs and looked for my parents grave. I walked around for a couple of minutes until I saw them. I stopped in my tracks and just looked over at the gravestones. I took a deep breath and carefully walked towards them. Once I reached them, I got down on my knees and placed the flowers on their graves. "Mom, Dad... It's been a while. Umm Itachi and I have been doing great....mostly Itachi, He's been taking such great care of me and working really hard to support both of us. I'm really grateful for a brother like him. I hope you guys are resting well." I wiped a tear from my cheek and sat up. I took a couple of breaths and felt a hand on my shoulder, Itachi. He turned me around and gave me a big hug.

He gently let me go and gave me a smile. "Why don't you wait for me by the stairs, I wont be long." I nodded and walked towards the stairs. I wiped away the tears that were coming down my cheeks more and more. "Come on, stop crying." I keep wiping them away but they just keep coming. "Ugghh whatever." I just let them be for now. "Sasuke?" I turned around to see.... Naruto. "Hey Sasuke! I totally forgot that you were going to see your parents." I smirked at him. "You forgot that quickly..." His smile dropped but came back again a little."Hahaha yeah sorry about that, I went over to Sai's and we talked about a lot of things but everything is cool now. How did the visit go?" "Umm, it went pretty good...It was nice to come back here after being away all these years.." He nods and gives me a small smile. He raises his arm and puts his hand on my shoulder. "It's alright, I know its tough... but now you can come see them anytime you want and if you like I can accompany you since my parents are here too.... if you dont mind." "Of course, Thanks Naruto." He smiles. "No need to cry." He pulled me into a hug. I was surprised but after a couple of seconds I hugged him back tightly and put my head in his neck. 'Naruto'

After a couple of minutes, me and Naruto just sat on the stairs waiting for Itachi. "So how did everything go with Sai if you don't mind me asking." "Oh, at first it was a little crazy... got into a little argument then Ino came by so things started to die down a bit then we just talked..." I nodded and just kept looking at him. He sighed and looked at his fingers while he looked in deep thought. "You okay?" He jumped a little. "Oh umm yeah I'm okay, just a lot on my mind." "Well you dont have to talk about it now but whenever you feel like talking you can always call and text me.... And Itachi since you have his number." I smirked and he just started laughing. "Thanks I will" He smiled at me and I gave give him a small smile back. We just looked into each other's eyes. 'Such beautiful eyes....' I was about to say something until... "Naruto?" We both jumped out of our staring and looked back to see Itachi walking towards us. Naruto and I stood up. "Hello Itachi, it's nice to see you again." He said with the biggest smile. My brother smiled. "It's nice to see you too Naruto. What brings you here?" "I came here to see my parents." "Oh... I'm sorry for your loss." "Thank you, sorry for your loss as well." He said with a warm smile.

After 10 minutes of Naruto and Itachi talking, he asked Naruto if he wanted to join us for dinner. Of course he agreed kindly with the biggest smile. "Great well I'll go heat up the car, come down when you guys are ready." Itachi had said as he walked down the stairs leaving Naruto and I alone... again. Standing in silence for about 5 seconds, Naruto had finally broke it. "I'm really excited to go over your place! I bet Itachi is an amazing cook! Also I bet your house is really nice and it also means that our friendship has taken a step forward to becoming better friends! Like Best Friends!!" He said with the biggest smile I ever seen. During the ride home he kept talking non stop, which was fine with Itachi because he kept answering Narutos crazy questions.

~10 Mintues later~

We made it back to the house, Itachi was in the kitchen making dinner and me and Naruto were in the living room playing games. "Say Sasuke, do you mind if I use your bathroom." "Yeah, its upstairs the second door on the left" He thanks me and went on upstairs to use the restroom. I smiled as a I watched him go up the stairs. "So, how's the date going?" I turned to see Itachi with a big smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes and got up from the couch and head to the kitchen to get me and Naruto some drinks. "First off, it's not a date and second, even if it was a.... date or whatever you'll just be the third wheel.... or something." I walked back over to the living room and sat down on the couch. I heard Itachi walking towards the kitchen while laughing a little. "Don't worry little brother, you'll get your chance soon..." "What was that?" He stops and looks at me and smiled. "Nothing, dinner is almost ready so go clean up." I looked at him and just nodded. I sighed and got up from the couch and went up to the bathroom.

I went upstairs and into my room cause Naruto is already in the main bathroom... Still. I opened my bedroom door and went straight into the bathroom to wash my face and hands. I turned on the water and splashed some water onto my face, then grabbed the soap and started to wash my hands. I turned the water off and grabbed a towel to dry my face and my hands, I put the towel back and headed back. I walked towards the steps then stop and looked towards the bathroom door. 'I wonder what's taking him so long in there...Should I knock on the door?' I stood there, debating if I should knock on it or not. I sighed, shrugged my shoulders and knock. As soon as I was about to knock, the door opened.

As soon as I was about knock, the door opened and Naruto walked into my chest. "Oh, I'm sorry Sasuke, I didn't know you were going to be there." He laughed and gave me an awkward smile while rubbing the back of his neck. I smirked down at him. "It's alright, I guess I was in the way. I just wanted to see if you were okay since you were taking too long, dinner is almost ready." He had a surprised look on his face then his cheeks turned a rosy color. "Oh, did I really take that long in the bathroom? I'm sorry, Sai started texting me to see where I was at again, even though I already told him that I was coming over to your place. I guess he got mad so he called me... we got into this little fight, I told him I'll go over to his place tomorrow to have another talk. "Why did he get mad? You already told him that you were going..." He made face made a sad expression. "I don't know what's going on with him lately... He's been acting controlling at some times and now I have to go over there and talk to him again basically about the same thing we talked about earlier..." I looked at him and gave him a sad look. I was about to say something until: "Sasuke! Naruto! Come down dinner is ready!" I gave him a small smile and patted him on his shoulder. "Let's go eat" He smiles and nods. We both went downstairs and went straight to the kitchen where Itachi was.
