Chapter 23: Welcome Back!

Sasuke Pov

This is it...time for me to go home finally. The doctor came in earlier and told me I can go home but I still needed to take my medication, which I had some side affects too so he said I should stay home for another week so that I can get used to them. The medication will be making me sleepy and dizzy and also loss of balance, and with that I wont be falling asleep in class or getting dizzy while I'm walking to my classes since I will be home. A moment later I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I said as I was still folding my clothes. I heard the door open and heard: "Hey Sasuke! I am here to help you pack!" I looked at him to see him with the biggest smile. I smiled back at him nodded. "Thanks Naruto, sorry to bother you on a Saturday like this... Itachi got called into work and he won't be back for another hour." I said as I was still folding. He walked up to the bed and sat next to me. "Don't worry about Sasuke, I'm glad I can help in any way." I gave him a small smile.

After putting all of my clothes away in my bag, Naruto went to let the doctor and nurse that Itachi will be a little late. A few minutes later, I heard the door open. I looked up from my phone to see that it was Naruto. "They understand and said we can wait in the room." He said in a soft tone. I nodded and locked my phone. We both waited for my brother's return to come get us. "So how's school going?" He looked at me and laughed a little. "It's going great dad, thanks for asking." I laughed. "Come on, you know what I mean. How's everyone? How much school work do I need to make and would you help me?" "Well, you know everyone... They're doing good, they still miss at the school mostly Kiba and Sakura..." "Sakura huh?... I know Kiba misses me, he texts me almost every hour." "Does he?!" I nodded and unlocked my phone to show him. "Whoa! Doesn't this dude ever give you a break?" "Nope, but that's alright I enjoy talking to him."

Naruto smiles. "Just in case you didn't know.... Sakura has major crush on you." I looked at my phone and said: "I know..." I felt his eyes drill a hole in my forehead. I locked my phone and looked up at Naruto and smirked. "Do you see something you like?" He blushed a little but brushed it off quickly. "Hahaha, so funny, anyway you knew that she a crush on you?" "Yeah it was pretty obvious." "Well? "Well... she isn't really my type." "I knew it!" I backed away a little smiled a little. "Knew what?" "I knew since the first day we met that she wasn't your type!" I looked at him. Still confused a little. "Your face is saying 'Explain more.' Soooo After I helped you to the office, Me, Ino and Sai walked back to class. Ino said that Sakura likes your type, you know... Cool and attractive, but I thought that you wouldn't go for a girl like Sakura. And I was right!" I just looked at him with a smirk. "Well you guessed right, she's definitely not my type." He had the biggest smile on his face.

After his little celebration about being right, he sat down in the chair next to my bed. It was silent for a couple of seconds until I broke it. "So...You think I'm cool and attractive huh?" I see his whiskered cheeks start to turn red. "W-well I'm not the only who t-thinks that! A lot of the girls think that!" "I know... but I'm not focusing on the girls at the moment... or at all." I said as I layed back on the bed. A few seconds later, I heard Naruto get up from the chair and the next thing I know he's right above my face. I opened my eyes wide at his little action. "Umm wh--" Are you interested in anyone at the moment?" "Why so curious?" "Just am...so are you?" I looked at him straight in the eyes as he did the same to me, lifted up my hand to put my finger underneath his chin to bring him a little closer. His face becomes even more red as I did this. I leaned into his ear and whispered: "I'm... not telling." I gently pulled back and put my hands behind my head and closed my eyes as I leave Naruto in a blushing mess.

30 minutes later, Itachi came through the door with smile. "Oh Hello Naruto." "Hello Itachi." "Sasuke I spoke with the doctor and signed the discharge papers. We can leave now." "Awesome, finally get to go back to my room." Naruto laughed at my remark. "Naruto are you joining us for dinner?" "Oh I would love to, but I already promised Sai that I'll have dinner with him and his parents." I looked at him as he rubbed the back of his neck. I turned away from him and grabbed my bag. "Well-" He started to say as he gently took my bag out of my hand. I just looked him with an annoyed look. "Later on do you think you can stop by the house after?" He looked at Naruto with a soft smile. "Of course! I was already planning too anyway." I now looked at the both of them confused as they talked to one another. 'Are.... they planning something?' I decided to not pay them any mind and went on with my business. "And with that said, I should get going don't want to be late! I'll see you later Sasuke!" I nodded "See ya and thank you for helping." "Not a problem!" And with that, he waved one last time before he left the room.
