It was a beautiful morning, I jogged with Eli around the village. Pagkatapos ay natulog siya so I decided to go to my sister's house. I even bought her croissants.

Atsi's gate automatically opens on the registered plate numbers. So I didn't bother texting her.

Paglabas ko ng kotse, I went to Lanai to check if she's there. And she is, streching and lightly doing workouts. She's wearing a sports bra and a leggings.

"Atsi, I brought breakfast." When she turned to me, I stared at her. Something's different. Did she gain weight or...

"What the hell? I didn't know you're pregnant!" I realized it was a baby bump.

"OMG! What are you doing here? You shouldn't be here." Ate Iza is panicking. And cleaned her gym mat.

"Alam na nila Mommy?" I asked becuse everybody knows I can't keep a secret.

"Hindi pa." Atsi sound so sad about it.

"Uhm paano ba? Maupo ka nga muna."

"Standing doesn't make the baby fall, Troye." Ate chuckled. I got the things in her hand.

Umupo ako sa sofa na katapat ng inuupuan niya. I keep staring at the baby bump.

"6 months na." She said.

"How come it's this small?" I asked still shocked.

"Because I'm petite, Troye." She rolled her eyes.

"Wait. Wala kang kasama dito? I think you should get kasambahay na."

"We actually have na. Last week pa. I can't do the laundry anymore. And I can't comfortably do the stuff I like to do. I can't even workout well." And then she started crying. I went to her and hug her.

"Is this you know pregnancy hormones? You usually don't cry." I whispered. And she cried louder.

"Okay. I will call Kuya Ian." I got my phone in one hand and the other is still hugging my sister.

"Kuya, andito ako sainyo. Uhm I made Ate cry and I don't know paano patigilin. And alam ko na about the baby."

Kuya Ian just chuckled.

"Welcome to my life, brother dear."

"Huy kuya, anong gagawin ko?"

"Watch movies, do things na lagi niyong ginagawa before. She keeps saying she's a different person now. Tell her she's not." I even heard in the background noise that Kuya is in the office. So I felt guilty.

"Okay. Can I call Eli to come?"

"Ask your sister first. Call me again when something bad happens." And then he ended the call.

"Croissants?" I asked and smiled widely. She just nodded and stood up. Like she didn't cry seconds ago.

"Atsi, can I invite Eli over? We can binge watch a series or something?" I suggested.

"I thought she's staying in España already?" Ate asked while munching her bread.

"Holiday ata because of some saint. Mom and Dad picked her up last night."

"Oh okay." She shrugged.

"Can Eli know you're pregnant?" I carefully asked.

"Of course. At kahit humindi ako I'm sure you'll tell her." And she walks away papunta sa kitchen. I followerd her. Why do I feel like she's gonna fall or the baby's gonna fall?

I immediately texted Eli.
