Eleanor and I didn't actually call it official. We never really discussed if we are in a relationship or something like that. But we are exclusive that's for sure. I just thought that we have actually no time for ligawan and stuff. All that matters is we love each other right?

But most days, I feel like Eli hates me more than she loves me. And today is one of those days.

"You're late." She murmured when I gave her the food containers I brought from the Grid. It's already a habbit to bring her food, I don't understand Doctors, they can literally forget to eat and minsan even shower.

"I'm sorry. Traffic. I'm from Alabang eh." I explained and sat beside her.

"Toxic?" I asked. She shrugged. Not really sure if she had a bad day or I made her day bad.

"Kumain ka na ba?" She asked. I smiled.

"Not yet." I pouted. I actually ate before driving papunta rito. But I wanna hear her sermon. She pushed the container in the middle of us. And gave me her spoon. She took the fork.

"Subuan mo ko." I teased. Kumunot ang noo niya pero sinubo ang salad na dala ko.

I chuckled. She's not mad, she's just annoyed about something. Cause if she's mad, she'll definitely not talk to me.

"Kidding. Eat it all. I ate before driving here." I pushed the container to her side.

She nodded and started munching all the greens.

"Why are you annoyed? May I know?" Sometimes there are things she's not allowed to say. Before we would change the names of the patients we are talking about but she always slipped and give me too much information. So she decided to not tell me things about her patients anymore.

"I'm annoyed because you're late." She directly said.

I chuckled.

"I'm sorry."

"Fine whatever. Tomorrow lunch pa pala ko makakauwi." She usually goes back home in the morning.

"Why?" I frowned. I hate it when she extend her time here. She don't usually sleep. She just study and do phone calls. Minsan she does research pa.

"There's this patient I need to observe." She faked a smile. She looks so tired.

Ever since I left my work in NYC and moved back here, sa condo ni Eli ako nauwi. At first, mom and dad are hesistant telling me to marry her first but eventually they agreed na rin. Eli's parents are so supportive tho. They said they wanted Eli to have someone to remind her to take care of herself. Which I would gladly do.

I sighed. Another night of no warmth.

"Are you sure it's not because I'm late?" I joked. She ignores me when she's mad or tampo. Which makes me crazy.

But instead of answering she gave me a smack. I smirked. I just hope the nurses and other doctors who are hitting her up saw that.

"Just text me what time tomorrow then I'll pick you up. But please sleep if you can."

"Okay." She said and finished her food. She puts all of the containers in the paperbag and sat again. She has 5 more minutes for her break. She put her head on my shoulder. I extended my arm to her shoulder to pull her close.

"Ayoko na." She whispered. She has days like this one.

"Eli, you can do this." I reminded her.
