Annie and I are eating lunch since Dad needs to finish a paper work upstairs. Hindi pa rin siya tapos sa pangongonsensya sakin.

"Baka naman gusto mo rin siya tapos hindi ka lang ready for commitment. Baka mamaya pag nakamoved on na yung tao, umiyak iyak ka ah." She jokes. She talks a lot lately. Napailing nalang ako habang natatawa.

"Eh bakit nga ba muna ayaw mo? Feel mo ba para na siyang kapatid? Feel mo ba siya hindi siya para sayo? O ano?"

"Actually hindi ko rin alam." I admitted.

"Nako wrong answer. Kapag hindi alam finifigure out hindi yung nagsspeech ng "i think i love u more than you love me."" She's mocking me now.

"I love her too much I don't want something temporary."

"Wrong answer nanaman. Paano mo nasabing temporary? Hindi mo pa naman sinusubukan. Love is a choice." She said

"No. Love isn't a choice. Love should be something you naturally do. Like an impulse. Like it's the only thing to be done."

"Kakapunta mo sa Don Bosco, yung definition mo ng Love pang Godly type na."

I laughed it off. Annie can really call me out tapos she'll never feel guilty about it. That's why I like being around her. She's not afraid to tell me what's wrong.

"Are you free tomorrow?" I suddenly asked.

"Ay pass sa date. Bata pa ko." She joked

"No. Dad enrolled me for the rest of the week sa sailing school."

"Need mo ng cheerleader?"

"Maybe. Day off mo naman sa immersion ah."

"Sige basta susunduin mo ko at ipapaalam."

"Fine. Dad can do that."

"Duwag ampf."

"Tito Anton's still pushing the both of us together. I don't want him to get the wrong idea."

"Yan dapat ganyan, malinaw. Hindi yung naglilinis ka ng condo ng may condo at nagggrocery as a friend."

"Is that wrong?"

"Hindi naman pero kasi may gusto sayo yung tao. Imbis makamoved on lalo kang pafall."

"Am I paasa?"

"Medyo."

"What should I do?"

"Give her space. Yaan mo magmoved on yung tao. Dami manliligaw di makaporma eh."

"Marami siyang manliligaw?" Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya.

"Oh bakit nanlaki mata mo? Selos ka? Nako ayan na nga ba sinasabi ko."

We finished our food kaya bigla nalang ako iniwan ni Annie. She cleaned our plates na parang I'm a customer at hindi niya ko nirealtalk kanina.

"Hope you enjoyed the food here in the Grid." She even said that.

"Whatever. Bad service." Pagloloko ko.

"Kasi masyadong honest? Mali yon." She chuckled bago ako tuluyang iwan.

I went back to the office and told my dad about Annie joining me tomorrow.

"Change of BFFs na ba?" He jokingly said

"No." I almost shouted

"Ay bakit ka galit? Busy kasi si Eli. I didn't mean to..."

I realized I overreacted.

"Sorry. It's just that Eli and I are not on good terms."

"Then fixed it. Aalis ka ng bansa for a few months. Mahirap if iiwan mong hindi yan okay." Dad reminded me.
