What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 26: Back Home

As we walk to my home I can't ignore the fact that Mr. Squirrel was still alive. To be honest, I thought that he would be the first one to die becuase of how he acts. Though he is a mystery in appearance, he is kind. Yes, I know he is a scientist and that could help him survive but still thought that we would be the first one to die when this thing first started.. I felt wind blow on my face and it was pretty cold.. I don't really enjoy cold weather, especially becuase most of the time I wear my cheerleader outfit. It isn't fit for cold weather. Sure, I could just change outfits but I love my cheerleader outfit a lot and I love it so much that I won't take it off during the winter. As I was lost in my though about my own outfit I snapped out of it when Mr. Squirrel grabbed my arm to stop me from walking any farther. I look at Mr. Squirrel and ask him why he stopped me.

" You where going to walk past your own home.. "

I stare at him and open the door. As soon as I do I see Partner run up to me and just hug me tightly, happy that I was home safe and sound. See peeked out from the corner and just looked at Mr. Squirrel, most likely wondering why he was here. I then saw the chorus kids run up to Mr. Squirrel and just hug him. I got to admit, seeing everyone again was nice. I was gone for a while and it just felt nice to see my friend all again, especially Partner.. I don't know why but in ever since we hung out at the Stomp Farm I have grown closer to him. A lot closer then before. I snapped out of my thoughts and went inside. Mr. Squirrel did the same. He took out his list and checked everyone just to see if they where sane enough. I was a bit worried about See since he was going insane but when I walked over and asked Mr. Squirrel just looked at me, still covering his face.

" See is just fine! He is a lot better then other people going insane.. I had to kill a few people before it got worse for them but like I said, See is growing his sanity just fine. "

I let out a sigh of relief and head to the kitchen. I see Partner who is holding only one sheet of paper. I look at the paper and see a heart on it. I was confused but before I could ask Partner quickly hides the paper from me and pushes me out of the kitchen. I was confused but just choose to ignore it completely. Mr. Squirrel walks to me and before I could say anything once more, he removes his hands from his face to show that his face is full of bandages. I let out a loud sigh.

" Hey listen, we can get out of here as soon as possible right now! We just need to go to Rhythm Tengoku Town. "

As soon as I hear that name I look at him straight in they eyes. Rhythm Tengoku Town was on the other side of the city! You could get killed if you tried go there.. It was so far away that I never attempted to go there after this City fell apart.

" Listen, I know it sounds impossible but.. Now listen, listen! I know a shortcut to get there. It will take a few days, 2 at max, but it is possible. We all just need to be ready and prepared to get there.. "

Was he insane?! There was no way I was going all the way to Rhythm Tengoku Town.. Again, it was all the way on the other side of the whole City. It also didn't help that there were multiple towns around full of insane people or decaying bodies..

" Okay, Mr. Squirrel.. I know you are trying to help us but we could die on this journey. I know it might be worth it but we might not make it.. "

Mr. Squirrel looks at me back and just smiles.

" I know, I know but it is worth a shot! "

I could tell that he was confident that we where going to make it. I started to giggle and soon laugh. I tried to stop but couldn't. Something was just so funny about it..
