What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 38: Circus

I followed Tram through sticks and small rocks. Partner was most likely wondering what I was chasing after but I feel like it would leave him confused if I did tell him. As I ran after Tram I kept thinking if I made the right choice. At this point, I wouldn't be able to turn back so all I could do was hope. Tram kept running until he jumped straight into a circus. I couldn't see which one becuase I just wanted to follow him until he stopped. Once I entered the place I looked around for Tram and with no time I found him on the old trampolines he used to bounce and transform on. He looked at me back and gave me a small smile and soon bowed as if he had just finished a performance in front of someone. Before I could even give any work or motion he disappeared into dust. I let out a sigh and looked at the trampolines. I took a closer look and then I remembered that those trampolines where Tram and Pauline's meaning that we were in Rhythm Tengoku town.. I smiled and was happy that I followed Tram. I quickly looked around the circus just to make sure and yep, I wasn't wrong. With was the same circus that is in Rhythm Tengoku town even though it was completely abandoned and there were some bones and bodies rotting around. Most of the bones still had some meat on them and the bodies looked half eaten.. It definitely wasn't the circus I remembered but it was the same circus. I looked over at Partner who looked exhausted with all the running but in no time he went from exhausted to sacred in just a matter of a few seconds. I try to hold in some giggles of mine. I don't exactly know why but whenever Partner looks scared it tends to make me giggle a bit on the inside. I never try to let it out or even crack a smile. I let out a sigh to try and keep my cool and start to walk to the entrance/exit of the circus. I look over at Partner and call him over. When he does I give him Red Cheerleader so he can hold her for once. 

Though she was still unconscious I couldn't continue to hold her. My arms where getting tired and even though I am a full grown adult with more strength then Partner there was no way I was going to carry a teenager all the way threw this. It wasn't that she was heavy or anything like that, it was just the fact that I was carrying her for a while now.. I do wonder though, when is she going to wake up. I didn't kill her in any means, just made her faint so she wouldn't feel pain but this has gone on for a bit to long.. I started to wonder if I actually did kill her. I snapped out of it when Partner bumped into me purposely to snap me out of it. I looked at him and sighed. I opened the exit of Tengoku Circus and as soon as I do Partner runs out. He most likely just wanted to get out becuase he didn't want to see all the bones and such. I smiled and walked out of the circus. I walked over to Partner and then relived how this town was doing.. Tengoku wasn't doing so well. The buildings where covered with sighs made of what looked like paint or just old blood and the roads where covered in small holes. The holes where covered with moss and even some grass though so I guess it wasn't that bad. Talking about grass, lots of wildlife was growing all over the place, yet this town smelled like something was rotting. I don't know what was rotting but it must have been something big. I walked around the place, trying to look for the exit but that didn't last for long until I started to hear marching.. Someone was coming. I ran over to Partner and grabbed him. He looked at me in confusion. He was most likely wondering what I was doing but I wasn't going to tell him.. He was better off not knowing anyways. I grabbed him tightly and ran inside a building full of moss, flowers, and some grass. I put Partner near the wall and kept him out of sight for whoever was coming. 

"Stay here... "

Partner nodded and as soon as he did I ran outside to hear marching again. I thought it was only just another ghost or something. I looked around and was careful but that didn't really matter now because in no time I saw them.. A single Squadmate standing right there. I looked at them and sighed, knowing what was to come for this one..
