What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 45: Almost There..

Soon enough, we made it back to the same building. I let out a sigh of relief and walked towards it. I soon entered the building to see the Chorus Kids, in all their cuteness. I looked around and in no time noticed See who was just in the corner, looking just a bit bored. I wave at him and he looks up to see me and Partner.

"Oh.. You two are back pretty early I guess."

It wasn't exactly early but by the time I left, which was a few hours ago, I guess See wasn't that wrong. 

"I guess you are right. Anyway, I found Partner and both of us had a good time. You?"

See looked over to the side and soon looked back at me, this time looking a bit worried. 

"Nothing much.. I let the Chorus Kids out for a bit and I don't exactly know if this happened to you but this crashed through the window and into the wall... It almost hit me."

See then took out a baseball.. The same baseball that said A.B. The same ones we found earlier.

"I had seen those things before we came back here... Are you playing a joke on me-"

"No Red Cheerleader. I am dead serious. I think someone is hunting us down or something like that. We should get going before they get to kill us now."

See then stood up, walking up to the Chorus kids, picking the small beans up. To be honest, I was kind of tired but would I risk my life just for some sleep? No cause that would be dumb. I let out a sigh and get a hold on my bag. Partner simply grabs his and holds on to my arm tightly. All we really had to do was make it to the golden gate. This whole city had only on exit, the golden gate in Rhythm Tengoku Town. It was quite a large gate and I knew that it was made out of pure gold, hence the name. The reason I mention it is becuase we have to walk there and it was going to take some time. That wasn't going to stop me at all though. We made it this far so why stop now. I held onto Partner and soon walked outside of the building. I walked over to the sidewalk and walked ahead as See followed, still holding the Chorus kids. As I walked threw the town, I started to think about who could be following us. I started to narrow down options in my mind. The ninja was most likely dead and of what I can remember, the white ninjas left as well so that leaves them out. Space Dancers? Most likely but when it comes to stalking I feel like they wouldn't do such a good job, same goes for Cosmic Dancers. Tram and Poline? Both dead most likely..  As I kept on thinking I soon heard a Chorus Kid scream. I looked over and just saw the 2nd one, not exactly shutting its yap. They just seemed to be screaming for no reason! I walked over to See who was holding the thing. 

"Why is he screaming?"

See looked up at me, with a worried look.

"H-He got hit with a baseball!"

I tilted my head a bit, looking at the Chorus kid. I then saw a baseball that seemed to have hit its stomach hardly. I picked up the baseball and again, those words where on it. A.B. Now I knew that someone was definitely following us just to kill us.. Who is doing this.. Who was this person? I felt a slight rise of anger arise in me. I held the ball tightly, almost breaking it.Partner walked up to me and pat my back, most likely trying to calm me down. I let out a loud sigh and turned back around, walking forward again. Partner and See followed as usual.. All I really wanted to do was find out who this was.
