What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 47: Final..

I slowly walked over to the gates, knowing that just a simple push would open it. I soon got close enough to touch the bloody golden gates. I touched the bars of the gate and pushed as hard as I could. It was tough however since it was made out of pure gold but I knew with enough strength I would be able to push it open. I kept on pushing and soon the gates started to open a bit. I felt happy and continued pushing until I heard See yell something to me. Before I could hear what he said though, something had hit me hard in the stomach with brute force.. I fell down to the blood covered concrete ground. I held my stomach and  checked what had hit me. A baseball. I picked it up and threw it to the ground. See ran up to me, still holding the Chorus Kids.

"A-Are you okay Red?"

I give him a small nod. He lets out a sigh of relief as I got back up. I went back over to the gate, ready to start pushing again but then I heard something.. Someone.

"Well, it seems like you have made it this far.. I am impressed. I truly didn't expect a cheerleader from Drummer Duel would have made it this far but I guess things always come to a surprise."

I quickly looked around to see who was speaking. I slowly walked away from the gates and kept looking around. I didn't see anyone though.. 

"I bet you don't know who I am cheerleader. I don't exactly mind that though since that doesn't really matter. The only thing that really matters is your taste."

I looked around frantically trying to at least see something. 

"You can't see me yet? Okay, fine then. I bet you will be glad to see me.."

I was more confused than ever but that didn't last so long becuase soon he showed up. White clothes that seemed to be drenched on old blood, black shoes that where now slightly red, dark green skin, a white helmet, and most importantly his blood red bat. I already knew who it was. Air Batter.. He walked close to me and looked at all of us. It was like he was scanning all of us to find out who tasted better. I then looked back at me..

"I see that all of your guys are here to escape while I am here for food.. Fresh meat and lucky I think I have found it. Now, we can strike a simple deal. I don't exactly want to make this painful so I give you this.. I can kill you the easy way which is me just knocking you all out and eating you. The hard way is a fight. From me to you, I would go for the easy way. Less painful, you know?"

I didn't know what to do.. I knew we had to get out of here and the fact that we where so close made it worse. However, I knew that Air Batter was strong and would win. I just stood there in complete silence until See shouted out something to him.

"You think you can scare us? You think you can win easily like this? It wont work. We have made it so far as well. Threw towns while we where in danger. We can take you on and we would easily win against you. You aren't going to kill us now and I promise that."

He stared at See, dead in the eyes but soon he smiled. He stood back and raised his bat up high.

"I see I see..  So hard mode it is. Well then, I gave you guys a chance but you choose violence. That is cool I guess. Hehe.. Well, on the count of 3 we will begin."

See got ready to spike up but before it began he put the Chorus kids away from the 'battle field' so they wouldn't exactly get hurt. See ran back and got read. I looked over at Partner who instead of shaking or being scared, actually seemed ready to fight for something. I looked back at Air Batter who was counting up. I took out my knife and got ready. 

"..2... and 3!"

He ran up to me and attempted to hit me with the bat but with speed I dodged in time. I ran up to him and got ready to stab but before I could even hit him, he had used his bat to counter it. I feel down and in no time he got ready to hit me but luckily something hit him instead. See. See tackled him down to the concrete floor and started to use his spikes to make Air Batter bleed out. I quickly got back up and ran over to help See. As I ran however I saw that Air Batter was already prepared with a knife. I ran faster ad faster and grabbed See, pushing him away from Air Batter who was already ready to stab. As soon as he quickly got back up, he ran towards me and tackled me down. He held me down to the ground and soon took out his bat. He raised it up high, ready to hit me with it. I was ready to embrasse what was going to happen until Partner pushed him off me completely. I got back up and saw Partner trying to grab the bat from his hands even though he was a lot smaller then he was. I ran over and tried to help Partner get it but to no avail. Air Batter rose his bat high up and hit Partner down to the ground.. He picked up Partner and started to hurt him with the bat. Blood went everywhere with each hit to his body. As I looked at all this, I felt sudden anger build up in me.. I ran over and punched Air Batter hardly. He looked at me and just smiled.
