What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 2: Hallucinations

I continued watching some TV until I heard stomping from the kitchen. I stood up and walked to the kitchen to only see Partner stomping, trying to mimic Lockstep.. A thing he was apart of before all of his Partners got slaughtered. I walked over to him but then I stopped at the sight of someone. I grabbed Partner and ran out of my home as fast as I possibly could as I heard something follow us. I ran into the forest and hid underneath a tree. I heard the thing come to a stop and  I heard it sniffing the ground. I held Partner close to me until the danger was gone. I looked around and all I could see was puddles of fresh and old blood, some limbs, and barley and plant growth. I felt sad in a way knowing that this place used to be so happy and full of life. Everyone was kind, helpful, and most importantly... Happy. Everyone was so nice and the sky was beautiful. I wish this place would be the way it was before.. Why did this happen? Is it because HE died. Is it because SHE attacked. Is it because THEY are gone.. It all happened so suddenly. This town changed so much and at this point there is no survival left. You will just be left to rot and die alone.. Everyone I know is now dead and everything is now a wasteland. I hugged Partner tightly as I heard the person come closer. I took a little peak and at this point I wasn't surprised. It was Forthington. He held his racket closely and it dripped some blood on the grass. It seemed fresh and that's when I knew Forthington must have killed someone and now he is looking for me. I stood up, holding Partner close to me, I walked away slowly so I don't alert that cat. As I walked away I looked at Partner but he just looked confused. He was probably wondering what is going on.. I looked away from him and just continued walking. I made it back to the sidewalk and as I was crossing the rode I saw someone familiar. 

" C-Crop Farmer? "

I walked closer and saw him.. His hat was down covering his face. His face was pale and his body was a light green. I walked closer to him feeling.. Safe. As I walked closer Partner grabbed me away from the road. I push partner away until I noticed the car. As the car passed by I looked again at the other side of the road but he wasn't there anymore. I guess it was just a hallucination. I crossed the road and Partner followed me home. Once we made it back home I opened the door and let myself inside. I signaled Partner to get inside and of house he went inside. I closed the door and locked it, sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. Partner sits next to me and just in a couple of seconds he laid down, putting his head on my lap. I look at him and he looks at me back. I pat his head and he seems happy. I know he likes it when I do that.. He closes his eyes and falls asleep. I grab the nearest blanket and put in over him. I watch the Static until I see someone. Crop Farmer... I get ready to stand until the TV turns off. I rub my eyes and look again. Nothing.. I get confused but at this point I just feel tired. I grab the nearest 2 pillows and put one under Partners Head and one under my head. I close my eyes and fall asleep.
