What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 28: Ready

As I run to Mr. Squirrel and as I do, I start to think and wonder off.. What am I going to do when I leave?  Sure, I can just do cheerleading again but it wont be the same without the music and hitting of the drums. It also wont be the same without my friends.. It just wouldn't feel right without them! I know I would have to go back to school but what would it be like? Schools have no music or rhythm like Rhythm School so that is going to be extra weird.. Everything is going to be weird since we will be living in a world where creatures, anthro's, and rhythm in general just don't exist. Sure, there is music and stuff like that but I have living in the city for a long time and I have gotten so used to the random music coming out of nowhere and random ratings like Try agains and Superbs.. I wouldn't know how to live in a world without this type of stuff, especially becuase people can be mean. Yeah, I know I am a human that is super pale and I also know that there are many human here in Rhythm City but still.. I heard that people aren't as excepting as us and can be very mean and very weird and I mean weird in a bad way.. I soon snap out of my thoughts as I bump into Mr. Squirrel. Before I could tell him about my choice, he looks at me straight in the eyes. Who knew that he would scare me a lot more without his squirrel mask. He looked at me dead in eyes and I know that he wasn't trying to be creepy but he was..

" Sorry to scare you but I just wanted to ask if you have made up your mind! I want to know because if I didn't, I wouldn't know if I should leave or not! It... It is weird. "

I look at the floor to avoid eye contact with this guy.

" Yeah I have Mr. Squirrel! No need to rush me. I say that yes, we are getting out of here but on one condition. We are going to be safe and promise me that! "

I was being serious.. I know that we had a high chance of dying or getting attacked but we could try to be safe for the most part. I didn't want to die on the way there. In fact, I would rather die then my friends dying. 

" Alright Cheery, I will make sure that you guys will be safe.. Well, as safe as you guys can be! "

Before I could say one more thing, I realized that he used my nickname.. Cheery. I only let my best friends use that and more importantly, How did he know my nickname. Maybe a random guess.. Whatever, I am not going to fight over a nickname cause that would just be stupid of me. I go over to the kitchen and see that Partner has everything ready. Before I could step inside to just make sure he got everything Partner notices me and smiles. Once he did I felt warm inside.. I smile back and leave the kitchen, thinking that he got everything by now. I go to the living room and see the Chorus Kids on See. I giggle a bit and enter the room. I walk up to See and I notice that he is about to spike up to get the kids off. 

" See, hold on. I think I can get them off for you! "

See looked at me and nodded. I tried my best to the Chorus Kids off and soon enough, I did get them off. It was harder then expected though.. I ask See if he is ready with all the stuff and he looks me dead in the eyes, giving me a weird feeling.

" Yes... Yes I did. "

I look at him and just walk away slowly.. He had no reason to creep me out like that. As I walked away I got a little glimpse of See and I see him giggling to himself. I guess this was some sort of revenge for me confusing him. I shrug it of and go to my room. I grab the green silk and cloth bag that is on my bed and run to the kitchen. I ask Partner if he is ready and he nods. He grabs the bag full of stuff and walks to the living room. I follow Partner and see him just staring at See who looks kind of scared. I wait to see what happens and in a few minuets Partner starts to tap him fingers on the floor. To me it sounds like random tapping but as I listen to the tapping.. It is really morse code. Weird, he never has done morse code before. I would say that the tapping lasted for about 2 minuets or so until it stopped. See nodded at Partner and soon he took out a small black suitcase full of some stuff. I leave the living room and go to Mr. Squirrel. 

" So, do you all have your things ready to go? "

I didn't feel like talking to him so I just nodded. He looked at me and gave me a little nod. He walked to the door and opened it, soon going outside. I called Partner, See, and the Chorus kids. See and Partner came walking in holding there bags. The Chorus Kid's where on See once more but it looked like he didn't mind very much. We all walked outside, ready to start our journey to Rhythm Tengoku..
