What Happened? [COMPLETE]

Chapter 29: Leaving Town

Mr. Squirrel looked at us and started to walk to an alleyway.. We follow him becuase what else where we supposed to do? We would be lost without him. Sure, I knew the way to Rhythm Tengoku town but it would take longer then just 2 days or so. We would be killed in a flash by someone or a group of people. It doesn't even have to be human, it can be an anthro or a humanoid. There where many of those around. After a while Mr. Squirrel stopped us from walking any further. I was confused for a moment or so until he pushed us behind a nearby trash can. I looked over and saw one of the Blue Birds. I faintly saw some old blood on his beak that was smeared and his feathers where all undone. He didn't look sane and before I could get a better look at the Blue Bird Mr. Squirrel mad me hide hid behind the trash can fully. He stood up and took out a butcher knife that looked like it was already used a few times before. It had some dry and only blood on the handle and the knife itself but surprisingly it was still shiny. He ran to the Blue Bird and before it could even react, Mr. Squirrel grabbed it and pinned it to the ground. I saw the bird struggle, trying to peck him with it's sharp beak.  He raised his knife up high and without thought, he cut the birds neck off. He let the blood spew out of the neck and soon it created a small pool of blood that spread out of the brick/concrete floor in the town. He let go of the bird and signaled us that it was now safe. To be honest, it wasn't very surprising on all the counts of deaths. I have killed a bird before as well so it wasn't very surprising to me at least. I looked over at Partner and See. See didn't seem to bothered like it but Partner looks surprised and disgusted that someone could to that. I shook it off like normal and stood up, walking to Mr. Squirrel. See and Partner do the same. Mr. Squirrel walks around the town center since it is pretty big. As he walks around the place I can't get the feeling that we would encounter more people that would attack us.. I wouldn't want that to happen but it was very possible, especially including the fact that we would have just been attacked if Mr. Squirrel didn't sense the bird. We would have most likely been killed. 

After some time, we where on the way to Megamix Center. I remember Megamix Center becuase of how interesting it was. If I am correct, it was a place where people from different towns could connect. Most of the people in Megamix where nice and had good rhythm 'minigames', except for Quiz Show.. I don't know why they where even there. I remember it being so fun but the thing was that many people like me didn't go to it often. I still do wonder though, does Megamix Center still have people? I wouldn't think so but it might be possible. Before I could think any further I feel someone hold my hand. I look over and see Partner.. Once I notice him I feel my heart race for no reason. What the hell.. I was so confused at myself. Partner looked at me and smiled and soon he started walking a lot closer to me then he usually would. It was weird for me, mainly becuase I knew that we where just friends. I also noticed that he has lately been very attached to me ever since we went to the Stomp Farm together. It was always kind of weird but oddly nice. I found it nice of him but again, it was weird. I looked forward and just kept on track where Mr. Squirrel was going so we can get the hell out of here for good..
