I know authors notes are boring and take up time but this one is extremely important. You will not understand half of the first of this chapter if you're not Catholic, so I'm going to give you some definitions, some in my own words, some not.

Eucharist: If you've ever been to a Christian church it's like communion, if you haven't been to a Christian church: this is where you have wine (a lot of churches use grape juice, Catholics do not) and the bread that represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ. In a Catholic Church you cannot participate in this unless you have gone to confession, or well you're not supposed to, some do.

Confession: (I know most should know but just in case) this is in the Catholic Church where you confess your sins to your father (the priest which is the same thing as a preacher, and for non believers it's the head of a church). This is done often and you are forgiven for your sins when confessed.

Communion: This may be very confusing because in most churches this is what Eucharist is in their church (despite the fact that anyone can participate in other churches). Here is the official definition it's very long and I'm sorry: The sacrament of First Communion is an important tradition for Catholic families and individuals. For Catholics, Holy Communion is the third of seven sacraments received; it occurs only after one's baptism and first confession (the Sacrament of Penance), the first two sacraments. This order of the sacraments is practiced universally by all Roman Catholics, whereas Byzantine Catholics (Eastern Rite), for example, celebrate the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation (Chrismation), and Holy Communion on the same day as an infant's baptism.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone but I am a Christian and I'm currently converting from the Methodist church to the Catholic Church and I'm big on beliefs so why not a chapter with church in it?

"Lilli, please come today, you can go to that game afterwards," Mom begged me again and I wanted to go, I did but I wanted to be ready for the game too.

"It's just one Sunday," I tried to convince her that I could go next Sunday but she really wasn't having it.

"There is one Catholic Church within a fifty mile radius and you can't go to it this Sunday with us?" I strangled the air in front of me and thought about ending the call.

"I didn't go to the last confession, I can't even do Eucharist," I pointed out and she sighed.

"So you won't get any wine, it doesn't matter," she argued and I knew I couldn't win.

"Fine, I'll be at our church in twenty minutes," I agreed and I knew she was smiling even over the phone.

"Praise God, love you bye." The call ended and I tossed my phone onto the bed. I missed however and it hit Harry, waking him up.

He groaned and turned his head to me, giving me a look. I gave him and innocent smile and a shrug then jumped on the bed beside him.

"So what do you think about church?" I asked with a smile while fiddling with his curls and he lifted his head off the pillow.

"Your church as in a Catholic one?" Harry asked and I nodded hesitantly. "Well, I mean I've never been," my mouth gaped and he shrugged.

"You've never been to a Catholic Church?" I questioned, surprised, I mean everyone I knew was or well the ones that were important.

Niall and all of his family, Kaley, my family, a few friends back home, even Louis is.

"I wasn't really raised in the church, we're Lutheran and would go sometimes but not frequently and didn't go to all those classes and such."
