"Lilli, it's been six months, it's okay to move on to other people!" Cara whisper yelled to me and I just sighed at her.
"Yes it is when my son is not with me!" I whisper yelled back and she looked down at him, and gave him a smile.
Teddy just glanced at us then went back to scarfing down her popcorn. "Well then you won't get anyone," she said with a mouthful of popcorn, some kernels flying out and hitting our neighbors.
I rolled my eyes and took a drink of my coke, offering some to William which he happily took. "How you are dating someone who can put up with popcorn coming out of your mouth is hope that I will move on."
"Mama, shh," William whispered and put a finger to his lips.
The movie began and Teddy went back to eating her popcorn while I made sure William was set for the movie. William was quiet during the beginning and didn't look away from the screen until someone yelled. "Oh my God it's Harry Styles!" All of us whipped our heads around and Teddy jumped up, running to the door. She took her tub of popcorn and smiled at him then threw it all over him.
"Daddy!" William yelled and got out of his seat running at Teddy and Harry. I ran after William with Cara right behind me and I began to laugh seeing popcorn in Harry's hair.
Taylor walked in at this moment and gasped, running to Harry. "Oh my goodness, what happened here?"
"Well now my friend is a kernel, she was a fluffy piece of popcorn. Then you came and took away the happiness from her life and all that happiness was thrown on you because you took it!" Teddy yelled and everyone in the theater turned to watch the scene.
"Yeah! You left her with a piece of popcorn to raise all alone for six months!" Cara yelled too, backing up Teddy's metaphor and popcorn throwing.
"That's great and all but I'm not popcorn, and I'm over him," I said to just the people in our circle so the theater could watch their movie.
"Yeah but when you get hit on you won't take it!" Cara whisper yelled to me and Harry looked like he was about to laugh.
"I told you because my son was with me!" I finally yelled and it resounded in the theater, everyone hearing this.
William looked between us and desperately at me and I nudged Teddy. "Hey Will, you want to go to the photo booth?" She asked him with a smile and he nodded, grabbing her hand.
They walked out of the theater and I awkwardly looked around the theater.
"So how have you been?" Harry asked and I laughed a little.
"Oh, great, look William wants to see this movie, do you two want to keep him for a little?" I suggested reluctantly and Taylor and Harry both looked surprised.
Harry looked over to Taylor and she nodded, making me sick at my stomach. I really don't want William to be around her a lot because honestly I'm afraid he'll like her more than me. It's a crazy thought really because I'm his mother but I'm really afraid of that.
"We would love to, when do you want him back at your apartment?" Harry asked and I thought about it.
If I let him and William have a day together I'm sure they'll both have a great time. I can also get some things done now and have a break, I have been keeping him a lot by myself. Today was the day the boys were supposed to come back from their tour and I guess they're all back now.
