"Scarlet? Is that you?" The tenth Doctor gripped my arm.
"Yeah, it's me. Blimey, I've been wandering for ages." I leaned on him. He seemed to wrap me in a tight hug.
"So I take it this is the first time you've seen me since you ran from me and River?" He asked. I nodded.
"This isn't the last time I see you in this form?" I questioned. He let out a laugh.
"No. No, not by far. Come on, then." I followed him, who took off running. I let out a sound and followed at a much quicker pace."Where are we racing to?" I asked.
"The end of time."
"Doctor, what do you think that you're doing?" I demanded.
"You can't, love. He can't see you. I won't let him." The Doctor demanded, kissing the top of my head. I started to argue again. "Please, just... stay here."
"I don't want to." I told him.
"He'll kill you." I shook my head.
"Who is it?" I demanded, pleading with hum.
"The Master." I felt like my hearts stopped beating.
"Tell me you're lying." I pleaded with him.
"I wish. I really do wish." He said to me, then disappeared around a corner. I sat there for several seconds, closing my eyes. Make the memories stop, make the memories stop...

Then there was the Doctor.
I stood up, breathing hard, and followed the Doctor. I would not let him kill my Doctor.
I would not let him kill his once best friend.
