"You are blinking, flipping mad." Addams informed both of us.

"You two, what did I say?" The Doctor demanded.

"What?" Rossiter questioned.

"Lasers." I filled in.

"What for?" Addams pressed.

"Because of the missiles. We've got to fight off an entire planet." The Doctor told them. Wilf and Rossiter both took their positions by the guns.

"How does this work?" Wilf asked, taking the joystick.

"Tracking's automatic. Just deploy the trigger on the joystick." Rossiter told him.

"We've got incoming." Addams insisted.
"You two, open fire!" Doctor cried. The Doctor pulled up on the controls and both Addams and I had to hold onto something.

"Let me fly! This is worse than the TARDIS!" I called.

"It is not! I can fly that fine!"
"You always leave the brakes on!"

"I wish Donna could see me now." Wilf said wistfully.

"And there's more. Sixteen of them. And sixteen more." Addams groaned. Both Rossiter and Wilf were firing.

"Then get on the rear gun lasers! You two, open fire! Now!" The Doctor yelled.

"Come on, fire!" I shouted worriedly. The missiles were too close for my comfort. Above water, if we were to go down, all of us would drown. Drowning cancels out regenerations.

"Lock the navigation." The Doctor told her.

"Onto what?" She questioned.

"England. The Naismith mansion." He instructed. I hadn't released my grip on the controls, terrified of what awaiting. The Time Lords would definitely kill me, perhaps for good this time. They'd probably kill the Doctor, too.

"Destination?" I questioned.

"Fifty kliks and closing. We've locked on to the house. We are going to stop, though. Doctor? We are going to stop?" There wasn't an answer.

"Doctor? You said you were going to die?" Wilf questioned.

"He said what?" Addams demaded.

"Does that include all of us? I won't stop you, sir, but is this it?" The Doctor and I shared a glance.

At the last moment, the Doctor pulled the nose of the ship up and opened a latch. He snatched the revolver from the floor and jumped.

"You're insane!" I heard glass shattering and turned to look at the green people and the old man.

"Thank you. For everything." And then I jumped as well.

It was too late to stop the Master. The Time Lords had returned.
"My Lord Doctor. My Lord Master. My Lady Scarlet. We are gathered for the end."
