"I just had the strangest dream." I bounded towards the Doctor, still wearing a plaid skirt and black top.
"Me too." He muttered.
"Mine was weirder. The TARDIS took us to this sunny little place but the people-" I stopped as e finished me sentence.
"Were all completely oblivious of us trying to speak to them. And then you passed out. And then I passed out." I stared at him.
"Why did we both have to same dream?" I asked shakily.
"Haven't figured that out yet." He admitted. I gave a nod, walking beside him. He was hunched over the console of the TARDIS.
"Well, where are we?" I asked, deciding he was too absorbed in his own thoughts. I strode forward and opened the TARDIS doors. I felt myself go numb.
I felt the TARDIS go silent, the lights going out.
"Doctor, we're going to die!" I slammed the door closed and went to help him try and turn back on the ship to no avail.
"The shields are down." He groaned helplessly.
"The TARDIS wouldn't let herself burn up. She's gotta have some sort of back-up plan." I insisted, knowing it was hopeless.
"We've got nothing. And I don't know if she'll be able to wake up." He said broken heartedly.
"Wake up?" I questioned. He looked at me strangely.
"You said wake up. Why?" I questioned. He shrugged, stretching in a yawn.
"We're going to burn to death and you wanna take a nap?" I demanded. He crossed his arms defensively.
"Being a genius wears you out." He argued.
"Then you should be bursting with energy." I retorted. He stared at me for several seconds before his legs gave out and he hit the ground.
"Doctor!" I cried out, sitting beside him and pulling his head into my lap.
"I don't know what's happening." He said strangely, and then his eyes rolled back in his head. I let out a scream and watched as my vision went dark.
