(SCARLET'S POINT OF VIEW)
"Please look at me." I begged him, before giving up and going into the changing room of the TARDIS. I changed out of the stiff Egyptian queen robes and into sneakers, high waisted shorts and a loose black shirt. I let out a sigh when I saw him, hunched over the consoles.
"Doctor..." I started."Not now. I'm busy." He said through thin lips.
"Locksmith. Pink pirranahs. red Daleks, cybermen poisoned me, why can't you see that it's me? Please look at me." I begged him. He stopped what he was doing.
"I know it's you. I know that, I do, but I left you. I left the old you in a temple with an angry energy field that had enough power to get inside her- your head." He said angrily."Then tell me that you're sorry and, for God's sakes, kiss me!" I hadn't realized what I said until his lips met mine, his tightening on my waist and tangling in my hair. It had been ages since he kissed me, sending shivers down my spine. I closed my eyes happily, contentedly.
"God, I missed you." He said, pulling away enough to rest his forehead on mine.
"You have no idea. I was stuck! I hate being stuck on any planet, but not even having slight technology... but it was nice to be queen." I admitted. He smiled.
"You're my queen." I let out a laugh.
"That was cheesy. Also very sweet, thank you." His mobile made a sound in his pocket."Oh, dear, sorry. I've got to set it to Temporal News For You. That's interesting." He mused aloud.
"What is it?" I asked curiously.
"Nothing. Not interesting. Not at all. Ooh, never been there before. Exciting! We're off!" He exclaimed, running to the console and quickly setting it to whatever had come in from his mobile.
"Are you going to tell me or leave me in the dark?" I questioned.
"Leave you in the dark." He answered. I shook my head darkly and leaned against the railing of the ship."Craft size approximately ten million square kilometers." Indira informed the Doctor. I had been completely overlooked, which was fine with me.
"A ship the size of Canada coming to earth very fast. Any signs of life?" The Doctor inquired. I leaned against the TARDIS.
"We sent up a drone craft. It took these readings." The images in front of them changed and the Doctor's eyes widened slightly.
"Crickey, Charlie, look at that. Ooh, I know someone who'd love to look at that. And the Ponds. Musn't forget the Ponds. Haven't seen them ages. I'm riffing. People usually stop me when I'm riffing or carry on without me. That's also an option." I spoke up, earning a few looks.
"Have you tried communicating with the craft?" The Doctor pointed to me and reinstated my question.
"Nice one, Scarlet." I shook my head.
"No. No response on any channel, in any recognized language. If it comes within ten thousand kilometers of earth, we send up missiles." The Doctor shook his head.
"Oh, Indira, I liked you before you said missiles. How long till the ship gets that close?" He asked."Six hours, nineteen minutes." I stood off the TARDIS and motioned for the Doctor to follow.
"Right. Better get a shift on, then."
