"Get off." I murmured, slightly shoving the Doctor to wake him up. He was collapsed across from me, back in the museum from the... Dream?
"Oi, get back on. I'm cold." I reached for him as he stood and he helped me to my feet.
"What's going on, Doctor?" I asked with a shaking voice. He didn't answer immediately.
"We're in a dream. I think. Or the TARDIS is a dream. Or both." He considered. I shook my head, not trying to comprehend it.
"Are we in danger?" I asked.
"Not in this world- yet, at least. But, if the other one is real- we're gonna burn." He didn't sugarcoat at all, I decided.
"So where's the danger in this world, then?" The windows busted out of the museum, causing me to wince as broken glass rained around us.
"There it is- right on time." The Doctor said overly cheery and turned to face the creature behind him. I wanted to hide behind the Doctor like a child.
"You will be exterminated!" The Dalek screamed. I let out a whimper and the Doctor used hisself to shield me.
"Doctor, I'm feeling funny." He turned towards me, his hands on either side of my face.
"Don't fall asleep. Not the time." He argued.
"Because I can control it?" I snapped sourly. The Doctor collapsed before I did.
"Exterminate!" The Dalek yelled.
"Doctor!"

I woke up feeling like it couldn't get any hotter. I almost considered undressing.
"Go on." The Doctor smirked at me. "It wouldn't be the first time." I threw my sneaker at him, earning a laugh.
"We've got to choose which dream is reality." The Doctor told me, growing serious.
"I hope it's not this one." I murmured, sweating disgusting amounts.
"You act like it's ancient times. Show some skin." He tried to joke.
"Oi, there's work to be done. Shut up." I felt myself start to grin, though, blushes rising on my cheeks. He couldn't see them, though, because the heat already had me red.
"Alright, I choose the Dalek one." I admitted.
"Then he would've killed us and we'd be dead." The Doctor reasoned.
"Yeah, and it's reaching ninety degrees (C) here! We're dead either way." I picked up my hair with one hand and pulled it into a high ponytail to get it off my neck.
"Neither. They're both dreams." I decided.
"Why?" He asked
"Because I don't want either of them to be real." I told him honestly. The Doctor stood and shouted my decision.
The world started to go fuzzy around me, breaking down links bad pixelation.
I felt a rush of cool air as the TARDIS struggled to keep out body temperatures down.
I hugged the Doctor tightly, whooping with victory.
"What caused that?" I asked.
"Dream pollen. Last bits of it." He opened the TARDIS door an blew them out into space.
"About me wanting somewhere warm, I changed my mind. But if you're up for the north..." I suggested.
"How about I take you home?" The Doctor asked. I stared at him for a moment.
"You can't just take me home. I don't have a home, Doctor. I have a different face, remember? My mates won't know who I am, I won't have a job. My home is with you." He shook his head.
"I still have to meet you. If that doesn't happen-" I cut him off.
"Then you never save me and I don't open the watch and the Dalek kills me dead." I filled in.
"Exactomundo. Strange word. Won't say it again." He promised.
"I've got friends who kind of owe me. They'll let you stay with them. I'll find you. I just won't look the same." I gave a nod.
"What do you look like?" He stepped closer and wound an arm around my waist.
"You'll just have to find out." He kissed my nose and I pulled away.
"At least tell me. This isn't fair." I whined.
"I know. But you'll know when you see me. Just like I'll know you." He took my hand and led me out of the TARDIS doors, towards a normal looking flat.
"Craig!" A blond man stood in the door, looking stunned.
"Doctor! You were just here a few weeks ago. What's the occasion?" Craig asked.
"I just thought I'd pop by and ask a favor. How's Stormie?" The man let out a chuckle.
"Alfie is fine. The first word he said was Doctor." Craig smiled slightly.
"And Sophie?" The Doctor continued.
"She's great. What was that favor you asked?" Craig asked.
"Oh, yes, this is my... Um, Scarlet. I need a place for her to stay for a while. Do you mind?" I smiled warmly at him and shook his hand.
"She can stay if you stay for a cuppa tea." Craig bargained.
"Alright. Let me go get something out of the TARDIS." I caught his arm and started to shake my head.
"Oh, no. That might have worked on other people, but not me. You aren't leaving yet." He rolled his eyes and straightened his bow tie.
"Fine. A cup it is."
