"Scarlet!" The Doctor yelled after me. Two very large and very unclothed men began to drag me away. I fought viciously, trying my best to wiggle away. The men said nothing, nothing until they put me down on a stage.

"All hail Isis." The crowd sang. I saw the First Wife of the great Pharoah Ptolemy XIII rise from the throne.
"What have you done? You cannot..." The Wife broke off, a small smile playing on her lips. "Isis, the great goddess, I request that you encompany me. Along with Osiris." She smiled grandly.

"I have to find Osiris first." I managed.

"I'm here!" He shouted, pushing past people until he got to me, wrapping me in a tight hug. I felt Cleopatra's eyes on us as he pulled away and linked his hand in mine.

"Cleopatra!" The Doctor exclaimed, once safe inside the temple dedicated to Isis. Cleopatra looked exactly like my latest regeneration, down to the length of our hair.
"I'm Cleopatra?" I demanded, grinning.

"Ptolemy becomes very pleased with you while you visit. That's why I'm going back with the Doctor." She informed me.

"No, you are not!" I exclaimed. She waved a passive hand.

"I'm future you. It's better this way. And frankly, I'm done with Ptolemy. He's a tad too... I can't say such things in the presence of others." She stiffened.
"Others?" The Doctor demanded.

"We need to run." She took the Doctor's arm and he grabbed mine.

"What is it?" The Doctor continued.

"Apep!" She shouted and the very name instilled fear in my heart. Chaos, utter chaos. The brother of Ra, the Egyptian sun god.

"Oh, Cleo. Who's this you've got here?" A hand grabbed mine and the Doctor halted.

"Let me go!" I demanded, pulling against the man. His black eyes darted to the Doctor, grinning.

"Time-travellers. And Cleo, dear, dear, Cleo... there's two of you." He reached out to touch my face and I snatched his other hand down. He chuckled.

"Let her go, Apep." Cleopatra spoke up.

"Or what, lovely? What will you do? If I kill her, you won't ever become. And what of you, old man?" Apep demanded. He snatched me to his side, digging a knife into my throat.

"You don't want to know." The Doctor growled. I winced as the knife cut me. Apep laughed again, forcing me to my knees. I let out a cry and Apep looked up jokingly at Cleopatra.

"What are you going to do, your majesty?" He taunted. I reached in my pocket, discreetly. Before I could manage anything, I was struck so violently and so maliciously I hit the alter, crying out softly.

"Scarlet-" The Doctor started towards me when I stopped him.

"I fight my own battles, Doctor. Stay away." I warned him, standing.
"You haven't changed, I see. Very well, Scarlet. The game has begun. Sweet dreams." I felt sick suddenly, convulsing. I understood, then. The place chaos is most prominent is inside.
