Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All... Or Alfie

"Ooh, a baby! I love babies!" I crowed, picking up the infant and bouncing him in my arms.
"That's Alfie." Craig said to me.
"Mm, he prefers Stormageddon, dark lord of all." The Doctor corrected. The baby cooed.
"No. He changed his mind. Alfie's a fine name." Craig raised an eyebrow.
"You speak baby, too? What, are you and the Doctor the same... Species?" I let out a giggle.
"Bit different than saying race, isn't it? Yeah, we're the same." I answered. He gave a nod.
"Doctor, I get to name our child!" I called after him, hearing him clambering around in the kitchen.
"Who said anything about children?" The Doctor demanded.
"Me. I'm not saying in the next year. I just mean before I hit a thousand." Alfie giggled in my arms.
"Alfie agreed with me." I smirked.
"No, Alfie thinks you're cute and funny." I laughed.
"He's a baby! Of course he thinks that. Don't worry, Alfie." I sat on the couch with the child still in my arms.
"You know, Doctor, it's a real honor for you to trust me." Craig said.
"Of course. That's what friends are for. Scarlet, quit doing that!" I looked up at the Doctor's harsh tone. My hands instinctively went to put Alfie back in his crib. I retook my position on the couch, pulling my knees up to my chest.
There was a moment of awkward silence.
"I've really got to be going, Craig." The Doctor said. The man looked crestfallen.
"Sophie will be here any second. It'll just be-" he cut off at the Doctor's look.
"Alright." He moaned.
"Doctor-" I stood up.
"What am I supposed to do? I don't sit very well." I caught his arm. He looked around the house.
"Clean. Play with Stormie. Find something." He shrugged.
"That's it? How long will you be?" I asked.
"A couple years." I felt my mouth drop open.
"Doctor- Doctor! This isn't funny!" I called after him, who was already to the TARDIS.
"Oh, I know. Goodbye, Scarlet." I stared after him, cursing under my breath.
I hate that man.
