Chapter 27

i knock on the door with a sigh. seeing it being opened, "hay-"

"is Rain here by any chance?" i ask him and he bites his lip. 

"uh, well, he is but, he's kinda....like an angry teenager." he nods and i sigh. he honestly is like an angry teenager today. "what's wrong with him?" he asks and i look to him.

"i don't actually know. he says it's me, but won't tell me what, he's been glaring ever since i got him out of bed, he snapped at his teacher and disobayed her rules, snapped back at me and even called me a stupid asshole, screaming that from his lungs too." i explain to him as he gives me a cup of tea. 

"wow-" he mutters, "and todays supposed to be a holiday day for me." he sighs. sitting on the sofa i'm sat on the arm of. what if it's just hormones? do they hit this early in pregnancy?......

"could it be hormones?" i ask him, he looks up.

"i'm not sure because he should of already hit puberty and-"

"no, he's fucking pregnant, but this early in the pregnancy?" i question and he stares at me over his cup with wide eyes.

"wh-" he caughs up his tea, "what- he-you got him knocked up?!" he asks in so much shock. i roll my eyes.

"no, i'm talking about some random cow and some bull- Yes, catch up!" i snap at him, sipping my hot tea.

"but- oh, well.....huh...i guess he could, i mean he get's heats-" he hums, then looks to me, "do you think it was because of his first heat?" he asks and i move to sit on the sofa. 

"yeah, the fairy said he's about two month along." i say. he hums, "i honestly started to think he was dying." i huff, he smirks.

"awe-"

"i will slit your throat." i say casually making him stop. 

"well, Neko's are instinctivly more emotional then any others. their rather moody or hyperactive, Rain had that stripped from him, his years of damage and mental and physical abuse probably caused a lot, we know he's not the most stable Neko about, but we've seen his growth." he assesses making me nod, good points. "unfortunatly, Neko mothers are when things get iffy. their protective, but while pregnant, their animal side is calmer and they only get touchy around the one year mark in their pregnancy, he's only two months along, he shouldn't be This hormonal right now." he says. Neko's are delicate and small and they take a while to develop, the smaller the Neko, the shorter the pregnancy, Not all Neko's reach the one year mark in pregnancy, but when they do, their Neko will be accurate in hight, build and inteligence, while underdeveloped will get less and less. to assure a safe birth, they last about a year to develop fully. Rain is a good example of an underdeveloped Neko, he's small in height, weight and build, and is more sensetive to a lot of things while Ginger Prat the Pussy Cat would of been born a lot further in. Nine months would be about the earliest a Neko can be born and survive without any REAL problems, any lower then that you'll have problems with brain function, may be the Neko will have asma, or heart issues, it all depends on how early. "but then again, your a different spicies and he's having your child, so he's probably producing more hormones then normal and he's not prepared for that, a Devils pregnancy is a very......everything pokes the bear type of thing. but he'll get over it. he'll have good days and bad days, just comfort him when he needs comforting, apologise when he wants an apology, feed him when he wants feeding but never ask when he's in a bad mood." he epxlains. 

i drop my head back, "i've got a feeling that this is gonna be.....a very tiring pregnancy." i breath out and he nods.

"one day at a time." he says and i hum. i then look to him.
