Chapter 2

~a month later~

Everyday after school, you and Paddy go to his tree house to play, the more you hung around him the more you got comfortable and started acting how you normally would. One afternoon your mom calls you to go to the house and when you left, Tom, Harry and Sam started teasing Paddy.

"Oooooo, paddy has a crush" Tom said with a smile on his face.

"No i don't stop it!" Paddy yelled.

"Paddy and Ellie sitting in a tree K. I. S. S. I. N. G. Firs come love second comes-" said Harry but was interrupted by Nikki.

"What is going on?" Nikki said looking at the boys

"Mum they are teasing me! They keep saying I like Ellie but I don't!" Cried out paddy.

"Boys..stop it leave your brother alone"

"Yes mum" said the 3 boys.

"Well all four of you go get dressed into something nice, we are going to have dinner with the Grey family" said Nikki

"Okay" said all four boys

~two hours later~

You and your mom knock at the Holland's door. You are wearing a cute red dress with some red, white and black jordan 1's. Dom opens the door letting you and your mom in.

"Hello, come in!" Dom said.

"Oh thank you! It was so kind of you all to invite me and my daughter!" Mom says as you and her are sitting at the dinner table.

"Oh don't worry about it dear, we love to get to know more about our neighbors!" Nikki said with a smile.

A few hours later you, paddy, Tom, and the twins go to the back yard to play hide and seek while the parents talk inside watching the kids from the window.

"Wow our kids are such delightful friends" said Nikki.

"Yeah, Ellie has social anxiety so it makes it hard to communicate and on top of that she hasn't been talking much since her father died 5 months ago, so I'm really happy she found friends" mom said with a tear rolling down her eye.

"Oh honey I'm so sorry, that must have been awful" Nikki said as she rubbed your mom's back.

"If there's anything we can do just let us know" Dom said.

"Thank you, thank you so much" mom said as she wiped her tears.
