Part 21

Paddy's POV~

When I landed in the floor, all I could think was 'I gotta get out of here' I sprinted toward my house and once I climbed through my window, I felt all the pain, my arm it hurt a lot.

Ellie's POV~

"What was that?" I asked letting go of the hug that was shared between me and David.
"I don't know..but your mom definitely heard that so I should get going" he said as he looked out the window with a shocked face.
"What?" I asked.
"The ladder.." he said.
I went towards my window and panicked.
"How the hell will you get down!" I said in a low yelling tone so that my mom won't hear me.
"Uhh i can climb down?"
"What?! Are you crazy! Your gonna slip and break something!...you know what just stay the night...you can sleep on the floor" I smiled to annoy him.
"Ellie always a pleasure" he teased.
"Heh okay okay I'll get one of my blankets and a pillow and you can make yourself comfortable in the floor" I smiled again to annoy him.
I put down a soft blanket so he wouldn't have to sleep on a cold floor and then I put on another blanket to cover himself and I put a pillow!
"Thanks Ellie"
"No problem"
I turned off the lights and i went to my bed, I stared at the ceiling unable to sleep.
"Hey David, you awake" I whispered.
"I am now" he whispered back.
"Sorry nvm" I whispered.
"Come on i was kidding, I can't really sleep on this floor" he whispered.
"You can come to my bed if you want"
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yeah" I said as I made space for him and patted on the bed for him to come on.
We both laid there for a while looking at each other.
"Hey David?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"Did you feel disgusted by me when I kissed you after Veronica's party?" I shyly asked.
"No no no Ellie..I just..didn't want to take advantage of you like that, you were pretty wasted" he giggled at the last part. "But Your a wonderful woman, any guy would be lucky for you to be even staring at them" he said.
I smiled. " David...do you feel anything towards me?"
I could tell he got nervous. So I just turned around.
"Good night David"
"G-Good night El"

*next morning*

"Ellie wake up!"
"Hmm what!" I didn't even bother to open my eyes.
"Wake up please!"
"Mom why-" when I said 'mom' I remembered About David. WHERE IS DAVID.
