Part 22

I kept looking around my room while my mom gave me a weird look.
"Honey what are you looking for?" Mom said.
"U-Uhh nothing mom.." I panicked.
"Well if your done doing whatever your doing, paddy is waiting for you downstairs" said mom.
"Okay"
I brushed my teeth and changed out of my pjs, I texted Daniel to see if he got out okay.
I walked downstairs.
"Hey Ellie" paddy said.
"Hey padster" I joked.
"You haven't called me that since 6th grade" he laughed.
"Heh yeah, anyways what brings you by?" I ask.
"Well I was wondering if we could go to the park and talk for a bit like old times"
"Oh sure" I said as I grab my coat and head out the door with paddy.
We walk to the nearest park and sit down on the bench. I could feel him being nervous about something.
"Hey what's wrong?" I ask.
"You know how u said you wanted to be just friends-" he says but I cut him off.
"Omg what happens to your arm..I just noticed"
"Oh nothing i just fell.. that's all" he said.
"That must have been a really hard fall, let me sign your cast later" I said.
"heh thanks...anyways as I was saying, I feel like we haven't been like we used too and I know it's because of your memory loss but-" I cut off again.
"Oh I totally forgot to tell you!! I regained my memory! I was with David last night and I just suddenly remembered"
"What?! That's amazing Ellie I'm so happy for you!" He hugged me and we hugged for a few minutes.
While hugging I felt warm, I felt safe.
"S-So um what were you saying" I said as I look into his eyes, we were so close to each other I could smell his minty breath.
He didn't speak for a moment. his eyes kept flickering at my eyes then to my lips.
"W-Well I just wanted to say that I'm glad we are friends and I want us to be close again , like old times.." he said nervously looking away from me, scratching his neck.
I started to think about it... when ever paddy comes near my stomach starts to flutter, But when I'm near David, the same thing happens,, I think it's good right now that we stay friends until I can decide.
"Yeah sounds..great!" I said.
"Good" he says.
It was quiet for a moment until I hear a familiar voice.
"Hey guys" David says.
"David!" I said as I got up to fist bump him.
"Hey David" paddy said.
"Yo Dude what happened to your arm?" David asks.
"Uh I fell"
"That's tough, I was going to ask if the two of you wanted to go ice skating" David said.
"Oh well you guys can go I'll be fine" paddy said.
"You sure padster" I ask.
"Yeah go have fun" paddy said.
"Okay" I kiss him in the cheek as a sign of goodbye (friendly kiss)

Me and David ended going for ice cream after ice skating.
"Um you have a bit of chocolate ice cream on your upper lip" I said.
"Oh did I get it?"  He says.
"Heh no, let me get it" I said as I clean off the ice cream.
It was quiet for a minute. That was until he kissed me. I didn't really know what to do but I kissed back. We made out for a minute.
"S-Sorry I-I shouldn't have"  I said backing away from him.
"Well I liked it" he said.
"You did?"
"Yeah.." he said.
"Me too..but i just don't know how I feel-" he cut me off.
"You like paddy don't you.." he said.
"W-Well... yeah, but u like you too..I'm just confused" I explained.
"Hey it's okay, ill always be here for you, just know that, and I'll wait for you as long as it takes"
