Chapter 10

I could hear doctors coming in and out of the room. I hear the same boy that has been coming in for weeks. I like it when he comes, he always talks about his day and I don't know he just seems great other than my family.

Paddy's POV

"Hey Ellie, it's paddy....so today I went to the field trip we were supposed to go to, I didn't want to go but we already signed the papers before....this...." I say. "Come back to me...please" I say as I grab her hand and closing my eyes.

I opened my eyes when I feel Ellie shaking, I yell for the doctors and they come in, the nurses telling me to step out of the room, I did what I was told but my heart ached in worry.

All I can hear from the room is 'she's seizing' when I heard that I stood up so quick, and looked in the door window. She was stabilized, thank god.

Your POV

You feel as if you are awakening from a terrible nightmare, your eyes flutter open, all you can see is the light from your room. You feel tightened in your left hand, you look over and it's a boy.

He looks up because he feels movement. "E-Ellie?!" He said almost tearing up.

I just stare at him in confusion.

"Ellie I'm so happy you are awake!"

"Hi?" I said pulling my hand away from his grip.

He looked at me in a confused matter but I guess his excitement got over it.

"Ellie hold on! Let me get your mom she is outside!" He says in excitement also leaving me.

A minute goes by and hear someone barge in.

"Ellie darling!" My dad said.

"...Mom!" I said giving a smile.

"My baby" mom said.

She gave me a big hug and talked to me.

"Honey, paddy has been in here non stop, I'm glad he was here with you" mom said with a smile.

"um who's paddy? Oh the boy over there?" I asked

"Heh quit joking!" The boy says.

"I'm serious" I said making my mom and the boys eyebrows scrunch up together in confusion.

"Paddy stay with Ellie, we have to speak with the doctor for a moment" mom said leaving.

"You really don't remember me?" He asks.

"Not a clue" I said as I look at his sad expression. "Um maybe photos will help" I said trying to make him feel better.

"Yeah your right" he says as he takes out his phone.

He shows me a bunch of photos of us together and we seem pretty close so I assumed we were dating.

"Your my boyfriend?" I said. His cheeks turn red and looked at me for a second then to his phone.

"N-No were b-best friends since you were 8 and I was 9" he said in almost a disappointed tone.

"Oh sorry it's just that in the photos we look so close so I just assumed" I said as he looks at me.

"It's fine El" he said then he looked at his phone to show me more photos and videos. "This is the time we went to the beach, oh and this is when you buried me in the sand on the beach." He said.

I giggled, he actually seems kinda cool not gonna lie. But I still can't pass him as a friend, he is honestly boyfriend material! I mean look at him, he's hot! And I might not remember him but I just feel like kissing him, ugh he makes me want to just kiss him right now. Is he single? I should ask but in a smooth way...

"So am I dating anyone?" I said.

"Uh nope" he said

"Oh...and are you single?" I said making him look up at me quickly.

"Yes v-very single" he stuttered.

"Hmm nice"

Doctors came in with my mom and told me my memory's will maybe return and if it doesn't for a year at most then it may never return. They let me go home early and when I get home with paddy next to me, I see banners outside saying 'welcome home Ellie' I gave a smile. I got out the door and went inside to see the lights turn on and people yell "SURPRISE" I yelled but laughed after, I basically only knew my family members, I couldn't tell who anyone else was. Paddy had introduced me to his brother, only it wasn't our first time meeting to them but I can't remember them so too bad! The party was over and my parents fell asleep, and paddy and I went to my room and sat on my bed.
