Chapter 8

~few weeks later-

Paddy's POV

Looking at her, knowing she might not ever wake up...it hurts. She has been like this for a few weeks now and the doctors think she might not wake up anytime soon. I still believe she will wake but I feel some doubt. My parents come in her room to find me.

"Honey..hey..darling you have to come home, you can't be staying here for countless nights" My mother said while rubbing my back.

"No i-I can't, she is going to wake...soon I know it" I reassured my mother.

"Yes we know, but let's go home, you can come back tomorrow, you haven't eaten anything" my mother said looking down at me.

"Right, um let me just grab my phone and I'll be right out mum" I said looking at her.

"Okay darling, come dom." My mother said while leaving the room with my father.

I turn around to face Ellie . I look at her beauty, and I wonder if I'll be ever hear her voice again. I give her a slow kiss in the forehead and I place my hand in her cheek. As I leave I quickly grab my phone and head towards my parents.

Your POV

I could hear the door close. Suddenly I felt as if I were alone. 'Was I alone?' I think to myself. I can't feel my arms,legs, face, I can't feel anything it's as if my whole body was numb. I hear a door open and I hear doctors and nurses talking over my numbed body.

"Will she ever wake?" One of the nurses ask.

"It's too early to tell, but she lost a lot of blood so tell one of the nurses to bring me a blood bag please" the doctor said.

"Yes dr. Andrews" said the nurse.

I heard the doctor plugging in something maybe the blood bag. I feel that it has been a long time since I heard anyone since the doctors left my room and I start to go through my memory, I was thinking of memory's with Paddy. We were in the Holland's backyard and climbed up the tree house, we talked nonstop about each other and how the stars shined so bright when it was dark. Suddenly I feel the memory fading away like if it were erasing, now you can't even remember what you were thinking about.
