Part 28

The hospital couch are not as bad as you would think! They were actually pretty comfy. I was on my phone talking to paddy when I heard movement and then a shakey "Ellie" when I looked up from my seat I see that it was my mom who had called me. She's finally awake!

"Mom!!" I yelled.
My mom coughed for a bit but it's understandable.
"Hi honey are you okay?" She said with a shaken voice.
"Yes yes, I'm okay! What about you?" I ask.
"I'm okay Sweetheart" she says.

The nurse comes in the hospital room.
"Oh I'm glad your awake! I need to take some tests, why don't you wait outside" the nurse said to me.
"Okay..I'll see you later mom love you"
"Love you too" she said.

I called paddy and told him she was awake. He said he'll be right there with his family.

"Hey" he said as he came to my moms hospital room.
"Hi, thanks for coming"I said, kissing his cheek.
"Hello darling" Tom said.
"Hey Tom"
"How's your mum?" Tom asks me.
"Better" I said.
"Sweetheart!" Nikki says hugging me.
"Nikki! Hey, moms right in there why don't you go say hi" I said smiling.
Dominic said hi to me as well and left to go say hi to mom.
"Ohh my favorite twins!" I said hugging Sam and Harry.
"Hello El" Harry said.
"Hello Ellie" said Sam.

All five of us went to go get food in Chick-fil-A.

As we walked back to the hospital room, I see David.

"Ellie-" I cut him off.
"David..what are you Um doing here" I said.
"I heard about you and your mom, I uh wanted to bring these flowers" he said.
"Wow thank you" I said.
"Also When I heard about the fire, I was so scared for you..all I thought about was- anyways I also came here to tell you that I like you a lot and I know you like paddy but I want to let you know that I'll always be here!" He said.
"Listen pal I think you better get movin before your the one in the hospital bed" paddy told David.
"Paddy relax" I said.
"I'm always here Ellie...see ya" he said as he left.

"The nerve of that guy" Sam said.
"Come on Ellie let's forget about him" Tom said.
"What a punk, thinking he could steal my girl" paddy said.
"Toms right let's forget about him" I said trying to avoid the conversation.
"Okay.." paddy said.

We gave my mom some food and we enjoyed the night. I slept over the hospital.
