It's Saturday 9:32 AM, I had just woken up to my loud alarm that I forgot to turn off last night. My head is thumping in pain, I try to get up to get some Advil but I can't even stand..how much did I drink last night? Wait..last night, did Veronica tell everyone the truth? I didn't really get the chance to talk to Paddy...he was too busy with some other chic. I went about 10 minutes overthinking until my thoughts were interrupted by my moms voice.
"Honey! Come down here I made breakfast" she yelled.
Breakfast? She never makes breakfast? Wait why is she here? She has work...............what's the special occasion? Whatever.
I cleared my thoughts and managed to walk down stairs without falling, as I'm about to go to my mom I see myself in a mirror, I WAS STILL WEARING MY DRESS FROM LAST NIGHT! I quickly run upstairs and into my room and I put on some shorts and a T-Shirt. Then, I went downstairs and met with my mom.
"Mom uh where's the Advil? I have a headache" I asked.
"Oh uh it's in the left drawer next to the sink" she said.
"Okay thanks" I grab the Advil and I take a pain killer pill and I grab a bottled water and drink it with the pill. "So mom..why aren't you at work?" I asked very curiously.
"Oh uh I just wanted to have some quality time with you!" She said.
"Right...and breakfast?" I asked.
"Oh Um I just wanted to give you something yummy today" she said.
"Okay...as long as there's-" I was cut off by the door bell.
"I'll get it" my mom said quickly.
"You expecting anyone?"
"Uh n-no!" She said as she walked toward the door.
She opens it and I can't quite see who it is.
"Oh Paddy, nice to see you" my mom said, her voice tone changed like if she was upset, I certainly was.
"Hi Ms. Grey, is Ellie here?" He asks.
"Yes she is, she's in the breakfast nook, come in" my mom said, inviting paddy in.
"Thanks.."
Seconds later, my eyes met Paddy's, I was pretty pissed.
"What do you want" I ask.
"I just need to understand something" he said.
"5 minutes..." I said. "Mom me and Paddy are going to my room"
"Okay sweetheart" she replied.
We walk to my room upstairs. Once I close my bedroom door, paddy starts to get heated.
"What do you want?"
"To know why you left with David?" He said.
"What? Are you spying on me now?" I don't need to tell him anything.
"No- everyone is talking about it, plus Veronica told me" Paddy said.
"A-And did she say anything else at the party? Like to everyone?" I start to worry she didn't.
"No..a-and you didn't answer my question!"
"I left with David because I was wasted and he took me home that's it! Why do you care!" I yelled.
"Nothing I was just wondering"
"You were just wondering?! Okay cool whatever, is that all?" I was so mad.
"No..I need you right now and I don't know if it's as a friend or more.... I'm so confused-" I cut him off.
"Wow you need me enough to hook up with some. Random bitch? You know what! Your 5 minutes are done!" I said as i shoved him out of my room.
"Ell-"
"I SAID OUT" i shoved him until we got to the stairs..
My heart stopped.. I walked into something not so pleasant. My mom was kissing a guy.
