In The Clouds With You

Part 13

An hour past and I hear banging on my front door, it's Tom and Paddy. I open the door and Paddy walks straight in with out saying a word, he looked pissed. Tom and I discussed about Ellie, Dean, and Paddy. Tom and I heard yelling but we decided it will be best if we stay downstairs.

-Ellie's pov-

Dean and I were discussing what I remember and he started to make me feel uncomfortable but I ignored it until I heard someone barge in.
"Paddy? What the hell are you doing here" I yelled getting up from the bed.
"Come on let's go" he said grabbing me firmly by my arm.
"Yo let go of her" Dean said pushing paddy away from me.
"Stay out of this, actually I don't think you told Ellie the truth yet" paddy said looking over at Dean and the at me.
"What truth"
"Dude I'm gonna-" Dean said but I cut him off.
I grabbed his hand. "Dean what truth?"
He pushed me and before I knew it Paddy tackled Dean to the ground and punched the shit out of him. I yelled at them to stop but of course they didn't listen. Before I knew it Haz and Tom came in to save the day.
"Stop, have you both gone mad?" Tom yells at them both.
"He shoved Ellie" Paddy said.
...is that why he tackled him? Because he shoved me?
"Dean you know better than to touch a girl in that matter" Haz said smacking the back of Dean's head.
Dean didn't say a work, nor did he look at me.
The rest of the night was a blur, Tom took me home and Paddy didn't really speak to me, only when I left the car, "good bye" escaped his busted lips.

Next day was a bit lonely, paddy and Dean didn't talk to me, I was left with nobody to talk to.
"Ms. Grey, focus please" Ms. Stone said.
I quickly turned my face from the window to her.
Class went by fast, I went to my locker and again I felt a shadow hovering in front of me. I thought it was Dean but it was Paddy.
"Hi" I said.
"Why did you lie" he managed to say.
"Because I can, and why do you even care? We are barely friends"
"We used to be best friends, we told each other everything, we never told lies, we cared so deeply for each other" he said.
What he said really tore me, it made me realize I can't be the person I was before the accident even if I tried.
"Well I'm sorry I can't remember us, I'm trying..I'm trying really hard" I said my
"I know.. I'm sorry, I miss us"
Maybe if I made an effort to make our friendship something..I can remember.
"Um what if we go to my house to day and watch movies and hang out?"
"Sure"

-After school-

Paddy and I are in the living room watching scary movies.
"Why are you so scared" I said as he hid behind my arm like a child.
"You can't tell me you aren't scared" he said.
"I'm not..are you?" Of course I knew the answer judging by his surprisingly sharp nails digging into my arm.
"Nope not scared"
"Then can you please stop digging your nails in my arm for 'fun'" I said as he quickly lets go.
"Sorry"
After an hour, we finished the movie, it was late but we fell asleep.. I swear I felt his arm on my stomach. I will admit I blushed a bit.
