It's Friday, 8:17 pm. My friend and I went shopping yesterday because all her clothes are not my style, I bought a black tight dress and some white sneakers. What you thought I was going all out for this party? No, Im going to talk to paddy and listen to Veronica tell the truth to everyone and then I'm leaving. Veronica sent me the address on Instagram. Why do I feel a bit nervous? No today is going to be okay, Right?
It's 9:07 and I just got to Veronica's house and it's packed, I can practically smell the alcohol from My mom's car.
"Call me if anything" I hear Mom say as I get out of her car.
"You got it" I say back as I waved goodbye.
As I walk to the front door, teenagers and some college students are on the lawn drinking beer and some even staring and laughing as I knock on the door.
"Omg Ellie you made it!" Veronica said.
"Yeah..um remember the plan Veronica" I said looking straight at her with no hesitation.
"Right...u-um come in! And enjoy the party..I will talk to everyone in like 30 minutes or less! The beers are at the tables and the edibles are at the table as well! Enjoy" she said as she smiled
I walk in and hear the loud music and everyone laughing, talking, and dancing. I see Paddy and I walk towards him, but it's so hard to walk to him while everyone is dancing around me. I pushed everyone to be able to get to him..but when I finally got to him, some over girl with perfect brown hair and perfect skin, perfect lips, perfect body, perfect everything, she got to him before I could. They were laughing and talking. Later she took him by the hands and dragged him up the stairs into what looked like a bedroom. I looked a bit sad and confused so I followed, I shouldn't have.
I heard laughing, but then after a minute the laughter stoped..I heard them kissing.. I ran out so fast I couldn't bear to stay and hear them..why did it hurt this much.
As I ran downstairs I felt a hand grab my shoulder.
"Hey where are you going?" A guy said.
I wiped my tears "I-I'm done for today I'm gonna head out"
"Come on stay Ellie! We haven't talked since last year and we need to catch up" the guy said.
"Sorry w-who are you?" I ask confused.
"McCoy? David McCoy?peabrain?" He said.
"Sorry no clue..uh remember I lost my memory" I pointed out.
"Right, well I have pictures of us from last year, we went on a ski trip with our friends" he says as he pulls out his phone and shows me some cute pictures of our group of friends, paddy was right next to me.
"Hmm so McCoy...what do you say we get a couple of drinks?" I said..I need to take my mind off this paddy situation.
"Drinks? As in beers? Your not a beer person Ellie" David says.
"Please!! I'll have like one drink and I'll be fine!" I don't need his permission to go get a drink, I just don't want to be alone.
"Okay okay but one drink!" He says as I happily drag him to the table.
"Wait I totally forgot there's edibles!!" I grabbed an edible brownie and stuffed it in my mouth.
"Don't-...do that..drink water or I'll give you laxative!" David said.
"Don't be a party pooper" I said as I chug a big cup of beer.
"Slow down Ellie"
"Cmon live a little" I said giving him a cup of beer.
He sighed "LETS GET READY TO PARTY" he said as everyone cheered and the loud music got even louder, he then chugged a big amount of beer.
I drank more than one beer, and then a lot of tequila. I was wasted.
"CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG" the crowd surrounding me chanted.
I chugged a big big big amount of alcohol.
Once all the alcohol was pretty much gone, everyone started to use drugs and some of the college students left to go buy more beer.
"ELLIE" I hear David call my name.
"Hey McCoy! You look nice" I was drunk and high at this point.
"Thanks but I think you've had enough for today" he said holding my hand and taking me to the back yard to sit in the deck chairs.
"Woah I forgot what quiet feels like" I said.
"Ellie are you okay?" He looked genuinely worried.
"What? Yeah I'm fine! I'm having the time of my life now if you'll excuse me I have to get back-" I got cut off by David.
"No stay, I got some water for you, you need to sober up, okay?" He said.
"No some college kids left to go get some beer I can sober up later!" I said.
"Please Ellie"
"No! Now come and get up" I said as I got up and I couldn't even walk I think the beers and weed combined didn't do good for me.
"Ellie Ellie! Let's get you home alright?" He said as he carried me bridal style and to his car.
"You like a super hero" I mumbled.
"Heh...okay okay I have rules..DO NOT throw up in my car I just got it cleaned and second drink water..you need it" he said.
"Yes sir" I laughed and drank water which basically did nothing. "Oh good my mom is not gonna be home" I said as I checked my phone and read my moms message saying she is working late. I texted her back saying it's okay and that a friend is talking me home.
"Okay if I remember correctly your house should be this one right here" David said.
"Correcto mundo" I joked.
"Okay stay here lemme get you from the other side" David said as he ran to the other side of the car to open my door and to help me up. He again carried me bridal style and I started laughing.
He took me to my room and he waited outside my bedroom for me to get dressed into my pjs.
"MCCOYY" I yelled.
"Yes?!" He panicked as he opened my door and shut his eyes.
"Can you please unzip my dress all the way"
He got nervous but did what I asked. "Y-Yeah"
He unzipped revealing my bra and panties.
"Thanks"
"Mhm" he said quickly and walked faster out the room.
I got dressed into some joggers and an oversized T-Shirt.
"You can come in"
He cam in the room with his yes closed.
"You can open them"
He slowly opened his eyes.
We looked at each other for a few minutes.
I kissed him and he kissed back..we made out for a bit but then he stopped.
"N-No I can't do that to you..your drunk"
"Oh come on" I said completely wasted.
"I'll see you Monday Ellie" he said as he gave me a kiss on my forehead.
"Okay..."
