Some Strange Type of Peculiar Love

Hugh's POV

We've been living in our house for 2 years now, Jake is back with Emma and Noor practically has fire coming out of her ears. Fiona thinks they'll go back and forth for the rest of their lives, but who knows.

Fiona was outside with Cuio, Mio, and Babbi. The gypsies were still living in an island nearby, the animals go back time to time. Sometimes the twins come with. Their masks barley fit and their clothes were tattered and dirty with the cuffs 3 inches too short. The gypsies tried to give them new clothes, but they refused.
"Very strange." They always said.

(Time Skip)

"Fee?"
"Hm?"
Fiona snuggled into me, she was wrapped up in a large blanket despite the warm summer weather.
"Do you like Ann?" I asked.
Ann was a two year old water manipulator, she came to us when she was only 6 months old. She'd been living outside the loop with Lily and Millard. Yes, that Lily. Miss Peregrine changed Millard's age, he was 18 now. Obviously I couldn't see him, but he definitely was taller and his voice deeper, it definitely took awhile to get used to.
"I love Ann." She smiled.
"Fee?"
She propped herself up on my chest with her forearms and cocked her head to the side.
"Do you want kids?"
She smiled as big as I've ever seen and nodded.
"So it's a yes?"
"Of course." She frowned, "but how?"
I laughed, "Fee, we know how."
She smiled and smacked my shoulder, "Don't be so crass," she smiled.
"You mean outside of the loop."
She nodded again, her face vacant of a smile.
"We leave the loop."
Fiona gasped.
"Ok you're right." I frowned. "Stay here, I know who to call."

An hour later, at 10:30, Addison was at our door.
"Is everything all right with the lass?" Addison said panicked.
"Yes, she fine, why?"
"You bloody fool! I thought something terrible had occurred!"
"Why?"
"Because you said it was important!" He shouted. I blushed and awkwardly smiled.
"Well what was it?"
Fiona came out of the kitchen with 3 cups of tea and a bone from bird knows where.
"Thank goodness you're ok lass!" Fiona frowned.
"This bloody fool—"
"Ok thank you Addison." Fiona set down the tea on the table. I took a sip and choked, how does someone make tea wrong?
"Delicious." I said. She smiled and turned to Addison.
"You never cease to amaze me."
"Thank you for coming so late Addie." Fiona said quietly.
"Anything for you, lass."
I nodded.
"So what is it?"
"Oh, how do we have a baby."
Addison gawked, "Didnt your ymbryne tell you?" I shook my head.
"Well ok... when a man meets a woman—"
"No!"
Fiona burst out laughing, Addison looked cross.
"Well what?"
"We want a baby and—" Addison's stub started to wag.
"I thought you were just acting a fool! You want a little one!" His whole body was wagging now.
"Yes but how do we have one in a loop?" I asked.
"Well that's quite easy, if it's a peculiar born in a loop, it will age in a loop."
"Really?" I said skeptically. Addison nodded.
"It's only ever been done twice, but both were happy babies."
"And that's all?"
"It's needs to be in the loop." He said again.
"We got that."
"No, in the loop."
Fiona nodded.
"It needs to be conceived in a loop.
"Ohhh."
"Bloody hell! You're too young to have children."
"We're over an century old!"
"Posh posh." But Addison sounded happy.
"I won't tell anyone until you guys are ready," he stopped, "and you cannot leave the loop during the entire pregnancy, ok?" Fiona beamed and nodded.
"Well I must be going,"
"No, stay the night." I pleaded, secretly hoping he'll leave anyways.
"I'm sorry but I must go, Miss Wren will be worried."
Fiona nodded.
We exchanged goodbyes and Fiona sent him home with flowers for Miss Wren and a meat pie, Addison and I exchanged knowing looks to each other meaning 'don't eat it!' I shut the door behind him and I heard him spark a conversation with livestock.
"So are we doing this?" Fiona smiled.
I nodded and spread her legs and picked her up. She wrapped her legs around me and I kissed her and gently held her against the wall. She giggled as a carried her to our room and set her on our bed.

The next morning Fiona was still asleep next to me. I went outside to collect fresh blueberries from our plethora of bushes.
"I heard your expecting."
Damnit, Addison.
I saw Miss Peregrine standing by the gate.
"I'm sorry I know you're mad—"
She held up her hand to silence me.
"I'm happy for you." She smiled.
"Come to the home next and we'll tell the children."
"But how—"
"Horace had a dream."
"Oh."
"Well don't let me keep you."
I smiled warmly at Miss Peregrine as we exchanged pleasantries.
The animals were still in their manger sleeping blissfully. I filled up my basket of blueberries and went into the house and got the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and butter to make pancakes. I mixed all the ingredients and put the batter onto the hot pan. The smell of blueberry pancakes warmed the house. I heard Fiona's light steps in the door way. She smiled and stretched.
"Pancakes?" She smiled.
"It was supposed to be a breakfast in bed surprise." I said flipping a pancake. She wrapped her arms around my waist and kissed my cheek. I heard a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." But Fiona was already opening the door before I could put the last pancake on the plate. I heard a scuffle and I dashed into the entry way. I saw Horace clinging onto Fiona with a very fierce hug.
"I had a dream is it true!" Horace yelled as he let go. Fiona nodded.
"Ahhh!" He yelled in excitement.
"Horace, it's 8 in the morning." I whined, but I was too happy to be cross.
"I don't care!"
"Horace, we don't even know if she's pregnant," I paused, "Right?" Fiona nodded.
"Well I dreamed it." He protested.
"Yes but—"
"Oh let's not bicker! We have to celebrate! He cried out. Horace wrinkled his nose and sniffed the air.
"Is something burning?"
