Request from my tumblr- skincare routine with Levi <3

"I'm not wearing a fucking face mask, it's stupid."

"Did I say you had to wear one?"

His face scrunched up as he hesitated. "No, but I know you want me to do one" he huffed.

"If you don't want a face mask, I won't do one but just try a small routine you to relax"

He stared still in confusion at you. "I don't really get how this is supposed to make me relaxed" he grunted.

"Just wait and see." you reassured as patted your thighs indicating for Levi to come and lay down already.

He let out a sigh and decided to comply with you. He laid down on your couch and placed his head onto your lap. His grey eyes stared up at you in an annoyed manner to which you responded with a small smile. It was very clear to you that he hadn't been getting any sleep, less than usual, mainly due to the amount of work he has been dealing with lately. Getting up early in the morning to arriving late at night. The two of you had missed out on quality time and what better thing to do than giving Levi your best skincare routine?

Sure it took Levi some persuading but all you wanted to do was help him relax and just for tonight forget about work and schedules and such things. Tonight you wanted to spend time. You helped him unwind as soon as he walked through the door, assisting him in getting comfortable and then persuading him to do a routine. He truly needed it.

"Close your eyes" you instructed softly at the man in your lap. After a few seconds he abide. First you grabbed a toner. You applied the liquid on to a cotton pad and gently wiped it across his face. Cheeks, forehead and chin.

"What's this?" he questioned, slightly suspicious about your actions.

"A toner, it removes dirt from your face."

He opened an eye at your comment as you tapped the cotton pad onto his cheeks.

"Are you saying my face is dirty?"

You had to hold back your laughter and answer his question seriously. "No, no it just makes your skin all clean after you've washed your face" you reassured him.

Levi's trust in certain products was very low, only relying on certain products. He questioned silently on why you need so much products for your face*

Once you were done with that you moved on to your favorite serum, placing a drop on your hand and gently massaging it onto his face and neck.

"Now we wait 5 minutes."

"Why?" He grumbled eyes still shut.

"To let it absorb into your skin, we're nearly finished anyways."

Unknown to you he was actually starting to relax and a part of him disliked the thought that it was nearly over. Your fingertips ran through his hair as he laid in silence, he loved it when you played with his hair.

After five minutes have passed, you moved on.

"Right let's move on to the moisturizer" you grabbed the tub that you use daily and placed a small amount in the palm of your hand.

You rubbed it in your hands before once again massaging them onto Levi's face, starting with his cheeks and moved up to his forehead. His eyelids remained closed and you took a minute to admire him, skin slightly glowing, he looked peaceful.

"You need to sleep more." your thought suddenly being said out loud.

"Mhmm I will." he mumbled at you disturbing his peace.

"Promise?" you raised at brow not sure if you believed him

"I promise, you can even knock me out if I don't." he sarcastically joked yet there was no tone of sarcasm in his voice.

"Good." you replied, distracted as your hand returned back to stroke his hair

"Oh! Last but not least face oil."

You placed small few drops around his face as soon after your hands smooth the oil on his face to softly apply it across not forgetting his jawline and neck.

A few minutes you were satisfied with your routine and hoped Levi was too.

"Done!" you chirped lightly smacking his cheek as one eye opened to glare at you, he slowly rose up from your lap, a hand running through his hair.

"Feel better?" you asked.

"Mhmm it was good actually." he dryly mumbled.

Although there wasn't much enthusiasm in his words it still meant a lot to you as a smile crept along your face

"Glad you liked it"

You rose up from the couch to return back the products to its place when a hand grabbed your wrist.

"I'll pick a movie and you do the face masks?"

Another smirk appeared on your face as you tried to hide your excitement, looked like you got through to him already. His face remained deadpanned with more of a glow than usual.

"Why'd you change your mind?" you teased failing to hide your smile.

"Shut up and go get them already."
