The living room was dim when the raven haired finally made his entrance. The peaceful scene laid out in front of him, everything still and quiet apart from the light snores escaping from your mouth.

You were laid back on the couch, a blanket draped over you only covering your bottom half. Your hand was wrapped loosely around a bowl of half eating popcorn as the end credits of your favorite comfort film rolled up. On the coffee table in front of the couch was a mug, that too also half drunk. And alongside was your laptop it's bright light reflecting across your face.

A simple smile crawled across his lips as he clicked his tongue. He had specifically told you not to stay up for him and simply because he didn't want to be responsible for dragging you to bed afterwards.

But deep down he knew you wouldn't listen to him. You never did.

Switching off the television and tidying up the half eaten popcorn along with the half mug with your cold tea he moved swiftly to close your laptop but then soon froze.

He then glanced at you, your chest rising and falling as you exhaled and for a second you murmured something in audible before shifting your position to get more comfortable.

Bringing back his eyes back to the screen he read its features.

'Porcelain teacup set with tea infuser.'

Beneath were endless options with endless colors for you to choose from and only then he noticed your credit card beside your laptop, with a shake of his head he shut down your laptop and left your card on the table.

"Seems like you never listen huh?" he murmured under his breath in an attempt to scold you but that soft look in his eyes couldn't help but appear.

With a chaste kiss to your forehead and careful not to wake you up he finally drew the blanket across your whole body; silently promising to carry you to bed later.
